A photograph of a Small Skipper butterfly, taken at Deerleap Inclosure in the New Forest. A picture captured during the evening, by which time butterflies such as this have begun to look for a place to roost. I've noticed over several seasons (during June and July) how this one particular patch of long grass, within the inclosure, is especially popular with roosting Small Skipper.

My First aquaponics set up. 27 gallon Bucket on Bottom and to small containers on top. Seeds planted on top on may 23. Constant Flow. No fish yet.

This little fella was about as thick as a thin piece of wool and attached to my shirt. I took a couple of pics of his antics then took him back outside....just a bit of fun. The book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" was written by Eric Carle and is a favourite of my kids and grandkids..I'm sure a lot of you have read it.
I assume it's a fast response vehicle. I don't think they will get a stretcher in.

...bathed in warm afternoon light, coz the sun had gotten out....leaning against it a roll of six sets of one use paper tablecloth from Ikea ( bought in the "as is " section for 90 cents!), to be used on the surfaces of either the dining table or the coffeetable during the Art Classes in English.
