There were 100s of these lovely little butterflies at Morton's Lochs yesterday. This made Explore #479 on Aug 17th
Warm sunny morning, went looking for butterfly's & insects. Only the usual grassland species seen with some small skippers that may possibly bee the Essex species

A British butterfly for a change. This is one I saw yesterday.

There are many green-veined whites around at present but this looks like a small white. Hardly a butterfly to get excited about but good to have a decent photo of it. I rarely photograph them and do need a good photo of one.
