Sunset at Rodeo Beach in Marin County, CA. I have been wanting to visit this beach for some time, but I intentionally waited until the weather was favorable. As the tail end of a rainstorm passed through the area there were plenty of clouds on this evening. I really wanted to get close to the action so I planted my tripod firmly in the surf and began to shoot without regard for the waves crashing at my feet. My shorts got rather wet but on this occasion it didn't bother me much. Let me know what you think!

Location
Hang Rai Beach in Thai An village is located near Vinh Hy Bay, which is about 50 km from Phan Rang City, Ninh Thuan Province and 400 km from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Time
At sunrise, the tide was low and I could see the green sea moss attached themselves to the corals on the sea floor. The shallow water was perfect for reflecting the clouds in the sky.
It's extremely rare for Noa to flop outside of her pen and cottage.
My Dad had worked a couple of days on releveling the patio and replacing some old weathered tiles with new ones, and Noa was very keen on checking out the final result of his job. To conclude her inspection, she treated us all on a wonderful surprise floppage right on one of the new tiles! What better compliment could Dad get for his work!

This male Bustard stood between the shrubs. After a while he came out and walked around in extreme slowmotion for several minutes until he suddenly and without a warning bent his head on the back and started running in high speed.

Recording day lightning is difficult enough under ideal conditions. This attempt, the best for me thus far, captures two separate discharges at 240 fps using my iPhone 7 Plus.
The first bolt is actually a series of discharges aimed at different directions. The second bolt shows a step down leader in distinct segments. However, even slowing down the speed 8x realtime is still not slow enough. You may have to watch this clip more than once. These lightning strikes followed the virga (precipitation) channels from high based thunderstorms. Relative humidity was only 20 percent so no rain reached the ground. Anyway, enjoy.
I removed a few small branches from the fan maple to get a clear view of my little stream. The sweet cell sap, which the blue tits were ingesting, oozed directly from the cut points.
I was then able to film it in slow motion from the camouflage tent.
