Slow motion video at Vancouver's metrotown station. Shot at 240 fps on a $300 casio point and shoot in a fast moving train.
Baltimore had its biggest ever fireworks show last night. So I thought to make a symbolic contribution by setting off a firecracker that I had obtained back last July 4th. This video is running in slow motion, 1/4 normal speed.

I took his photograph from a low viewpoint, I sat at the side of the path at the road and put my camera at knee height and I also used a slow shutter speed to capture the cars movement.
In this shoot I tried to show the contrast between the water and the colour red by using slow motion. I think I got some really cool shots and I have a few favourites out of this shoot. I feel like I did quite well as it was my first time doing slow motion photography. If I were to do this again I would bring someone with me so the drops could be more accurate and I would probably make a film out of it. I should have learnt how to use the cannon because the images are dramatically different and more low res. I did get some good pictures out of the cannon but wont be able to use most of them due to the resolution.
Le cose che si ripetono, apparentemente uguali, a volte ci raccontano soltanto che si ripeteranno ancora, che la prossima volta sarà una volta in più.
Eppure bisogna esserci, guardare, sentire anche quella vita già vissuta che ci scorre addosso. Perché non sapremo mai in anticipo quale onda porterà qualcosa di nuovo, e di grande.
