The same reservoire that i shot in Ghost in the Machine. I shot it on a slow shutter speed and picked the tripod up mid exposure to create the movement.

Going for the blur ...
Photo Story: A painter is whitewashing a rusty building wall. They are the common hard-working Bangladeshi individuals. These poor workers do not use the latest gears. So while they work, they almost got covered by the lime or color. They need to survive against sweat, lime & colors in their everyday life.

As much as it was a struggle carrying around so much gear, digital, film, pinhole, Polaroid, etc....I'm glad I did as I feel I was able to capture some nice photos of these beautiful locations on different formats
Nunca había estado y NO me gustó nada esta localización, aunque sí el amanecer y así me las arreglé

Slow motion video of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) is still pretty fast. Still getting the hang of the new camera.
At the 45 seconds to go mark, he got buzzed by another hummer, which didn't make him happy, but it's his feeder, so he didn't budge.

I'd been in my blind for hours yesterday morning, and had hardly seen a thing. This Heron landed far away and was so small in the viewfinder that I didn't try to capture photos or video. Eventually I decided to try some cropped, slow-motion video, shooting only in HD, not 4K, and at one-third the actual speed. I was surprised at the image quality - although not as good as a frame from 4K, it produced a usable still.
This is our "winter Great Blue Heron," the only one that has been here for the last few months. He has chased off any other GBH's that have shown up, but now he's in his breeding colors, and I videoed him on a branch looking up at a female that had just arrived. I counted five GBH's yesterday - nesting season isn't far away here in north Florida.
Our swamp is in a drought, although there is still some open water in places. With the water so low, the buttresses of most of the cypress trees are now visible, and I didn't realize how big they've gotten until I saw some of our larger wading birds in front of them. The view from my blind at sunrise and from outside of it in late morning follow this image in my photostream.

Make sure to keep your eyes focused at 0:25 as a fish jumps out of the water, heading up to the downfall! I just noticed it as I was watching this version. The still of this is featured in my former post.
This time something different😋 something rare and something I'm still learning but, from time to time it's nice to share the effects😉

I went back and walked in, and it was one of those places where you can't help it, you just keep going further in, your sense of time fading into the background...
like chaser, olivia's hair gets upset, opposite. due to flickr time constraints, the full version of this video can't be posted here, but it can be found right here.
Slow-motion video of a Marbled Godwit finding and eating a worm
- Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
Few years back, I was on the quest to photograph these birds as they are rare(ish) along the Jersey shore. This led me to finding amazing places in Florida and California where I keep coming back ever since. It looks like I will be adding this particular spot to that list as well
Never stop exploring!
