Ruins castle Nijenbeek.
Descendants of William Steenbergen inhabited the castle until 1778. It then passed to the family Schimmelpenninck van der Oye and in 1991 a member of the Van Lynden family. Initially, the building was rebuilt several times until a suitable tower.
In the last weeks of the Second World War there was a German unit stationed, which were driven by the Canadians with a grenade bombardment which inflicted considerable damage. Since then, the tower has fallen into disrepair. Plans to at least the much-needed recovery to be carried out each walked to nothing but ruin in 2015 by order of the trustees of the estate was Poll consolidated, including to open up to him from 2017 to visitors. This will, however, according to the managers but to a small degree (four times per year), due to the presence of protected species.

Antelope Canyon, Page, Arizona.
This slot canyon is located on land owned by the Navajo Nation and has become a photographer's mecca--seeking just the right shot as the sun shines brilliantly down through the slots. However, as more and more serious photographers discover this astonishing place, it becomes harder to deal with the crowds and more difficult to set up properly for good shooting conditions.
The Antelope Canyons are located in the Navajo reservation area north of Arizona. These canyons may be one of the greatest wonders deep in the southwest.
Geez, casinos are pretty sensitive about folks taking pictures of slot machines. But, I swear, the guy at the front when we checked in told me that I just had to avoid taking pictures of the security cameras and the gamblers.

Slot canyons along the Spooky Gulch Trail in Grand Staircase Escalante, Utah. At one point, the slots were barely two feet wide. The light above barely shining through made it very spooky indeed, but, the tightness was no worries for us.
Slot canyons are formed by rushing water, which in turn erode the rock/stone away. About a week before we were here, flash floods ripped through Escalante. These canyons have been formed over time, tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of years. Our time here was just but a word on a page of a book with millions of chapters.
