Yesterday, I watched the Mystify: Michael Hutchence documentary film on Netflix. It is such a sad story of a how a superstar ended his life. I was totally overwhelmed.
It is the advise of how an accident can change things permanently. A traumatic brain injury in 1992 changed his life, changed his personal relationship, and definitely changed the destiny of INXS, one of my all time favorite bands.
On the morning of 22 November 1997, Michael Hutchence, the leader and singer of the rock band INXS was found dead in his hotel room in Sydney. His death was reported by the New South Wales Coroner to be the result of suicide by hanging. In the autopsy report they found permanent areas of brain damage on his frontal lobes.
This song was written by Hutchence and completed by his long time friend Bono, from U2.
"I wanted to let it go
Just couldn't let it go
I wanted to let it go
Just couldn't let you go
I would catch you
(Just couldn't let you go)
I'd catch you as you fall
(Just couldn't let it go)
I would catch you
(Just couldn't let you go)
I'd catch you if I heard your call
But you tore a hole in space
Like a dark star, falls from grace
You burn across the sky
And I would find you wings to fly
And I would catch you
I would catch your fall
I just wanna slide away and come alive again"
Wasn't sure what I was going to try for today's slide, so gave it a quick wash in PhotoScape.
Was about to give up when I got to this point and just managed to put the brakes on. I liked how it had come out.

HSS - Happy Slider Sunday Everyone.
I don't do this often but thought I would join in on the fun this Sunday. Slider Sunday is where you push your post processing a little too much, slide those sliders over a bit.

Changed the colour, added a very soft swirl, enhanced saturation, and uploaded it for the group

There is a bit of Sunday Sliding in this photo. Because I wanted to get the wall (lower right) in the frame, townhall became very small. So, I selected that part of the image and enlarged it. The keen-eyed amongst you (is that you Gerald?) will probably be able to tell. I have outlined the area in a note.

This was one time that the sun did not go softly into the night - it burst on the scene! Enhanced from my On This Date archives.
Sliders Sunday
This photo is of a frozen waterfall, I did it in Dynamic Auto Painter. Plus I did some touching up in Photoshop afterwards.
Made it to the Manatee Viewing Center at the Teco Big Bend Station in Apollo Beach. When the water temperatures dip below 68 degrees the Florida manatees seek the warmer waters in the discharge canal. Salt water taken from Tampa Bay to cool Unit 4-flows clean and warm back to the bay. It was a very cold dreary day. The Manatee Viewing Center is open from November to April.
Happy Slider Sunday!
Happy Sliders Sunday! Lesser Celandine plants are such bright & cheerful Spring flowers brightening up the woodland floor like little jewels. I jazzed the original image up with Topaz Glow "Flower Power I" filter. Best viewed Large.
Photo 10/100 for the 100 Flowers 2020 group.
The dashboard of the 1927 Bugatti Type 35B "kit car." It was on display, and kits were for sale, at the 1974 Lake Afton Grand Prix. This road course is 25 miles west of Wichita. This is another old slide that I tweaked a bit. Price for the "kit" was $750 in 1974. . .That $750 is equal to $4526 in 2022. . .Ah, inflation. . .
