Sunset against the Slack Canyon...quasi-hdr. 5 exposures, but had-tonemapped & texturemapped. Cool. This shot is probably fairly meaningless and boring unless you're one of the folks who makes it out to Bat Country in early May.
I saw an image like this that Cris exhibited on his site a while back. It was by way of an example to show slack line flying. Well after numerous outings in light winds, I'm now finding it common for there to be a period during the flight where the rig is hanging almost vertically from the kite and the line from the rig to the hand is almost entirely laid along the ground. To the point where I can almost just leave the reel on the ground and it won't go anywhere, but the rig is still flying.
"You slacking monkey! Start working! We haven't got all day!"
That's his name. Slack A. Jack. I don't know what the A stands for, yet.

I've lost my motivation. I still hoard my starbucks cups (see, one from Canada still) but they just sit there waiting for me to either take their picture or throw them out. Usually it is the latter. Winter is coming. I don't feel like doing much of anything.
The houses used as a court by Justice Michael Stocks at Catherine Slack, and the houses next door as well! These two houses were not built by the Stocks' though.
Wouldn't it look good with a stocks (no pun) in the middle!
