Here's the situation at my workplace. In June, we hung a hummingbird feeder on the backside of the park entrance gatehouse. By now, it's a crowded success, birds hovering in line for one of the precious feeder holes. They're downing a quart a day of that precious sugar juice. I've given up trying to ID them. We had some Allen's in the beginning. Now I think just Anna's, though someone suggested perhaps a Black-chinned on one. So the green background is a big tree at the other end of the gatehouse. Mostly, I try to get them in the hover, before the feeder gets in the photo, but I thought this was pretty crazy for reference. Early morning was working best when I had the "late" shift and I could just come a little early, but now the late shift starts later and the sun is too high, hard to get the catch light or they go in the shadow of the building. I'm really quite amazed how they gather round, completely around, the feeder, like a big happy family. Not so with my 3 feeders at home. The several hummers I have mostly tend not to tolerate one another - at best one might sit on one side of a feeder and allow another bird to use the far side. Lately I've been getting Hooded Orioles too - wouldn't that be a grand addition at the work feeder!!

It's taken me 47 years to actually pick who I am apart.
I think we unconsciously take on our parents, ancestors, the community and times we live in; measuring other's, their apparent achievements successes at career, family life, a yard stick but to whose measurements...why those particular measurements, who decided?
maybe we decided - judging our own 'failures', 'mistakes' and general f-ups maybe if we stopped trying to just be what we think we need to be and were actually us. If maybe it all just is? we have good bits we have not so good bits, we have good times, we have bad times , the mistakes don't define us unless we dicks enough to allow them??
Alice ....the white rabbit was right....you have to really love yourself first.....and a good first step is to be loving with yourself ♥
So I don't want a new me, I am not my past, I am in charge of my peace and what makes me happy and fulfilled - I'm working with what I've got....building stability for my family in a way that's right for us with love.

At 27 I found myself in a bad situation....thinking it was too late for myself, I'd made my bed I would have to lie in it, no one else would love me this was it a pretty numb life
Yesterday doesn't matter,
It doesn't matter if you're 27, 47, 97, be you, do what makes you happy own you're all with pride♥
So if anyones not too bad at accounts, IT and all the awful admin stuff.....employee benefits; office in the countryside, I've got a proper proper coffee maker too 😁♀️
Do not be tethered by your expectations, they may often dissappoint. Expectations without attachment allows you to be flexible in all situations. Expect nothing, receive everything.
I am not sure about some of you but I always have issues shooting on bridges. Yet alone bridges with railroad tracks. To make it more worse on the situation, Manhattan bridge, which every minute, trains crosses. Not to mention huge trucks rushing as well.
Patience is always the key on cases like this.

God’s authority exists regardless of the circumstances; in all situations, God dictates and arranges every human fate and all things in accordance with His thoughts, His wishes. This will not change because humans change, and it is independent of man’s will, cannot be altered by any changes in time, space, and geography, for God’s authority is His very substance. Whether man is able to know and accept God’s sovereignty, and whether man is able to submit to it, does not in the slightest way change the fact of God’s sovereignty over human fate. That is to say, no matter what attitude man takes toward God’s sovereignty, it simply cannot change the fact that God holds sovereignty over human fate and over all things. Even if you do not submit to God’s sovereignty, He still commands your fate; even if you cannot know His sovereignty, His authority still exists. God’s authority and the fact of God’s sovereignty over human fate are independent of human will, do not change in accordance with man’s preferences and choices. God’s authority is everywhere, at every hour, at every instant. If heaven and earth were to pass away, His authority would never pass away, for He is God Himself, He possesses the unique authority, and His authority is not restricted or limited by people, events, or things, by space or by geography. At all times God wields His authority, shows His might, continues His management work as always; at all times He rules all things, provides for all things, orchestrates all things, just as He always did. No one can change this. It is fact; it has been the unchanging truth since time immemorial!

Eine ähnliche Situation habe ich im Weinberg bei Merdingen entdeckt. Der Löß-Hang wurde mit Autoreifen befestigt, aber eine längere Regenzeit hatte die Haltbarkeit aufgelöst.
I discovered a similar situation in the vineyard near Merdingen. The loess slope was fixed with car tires, but a longer rainy season had dissolved the durability.
I was watching the Harvester caterpillars feeding on the aphids when this syrphid fly came down and appeared to oviposit on the aphids.

Some seeds never germinate. Some seeds grow into beauiful trees, even if they fell of the bushes.
We see where our situation allows us, reality is not unique. Sometimes you have to rise to gain perspective and other times you have to immerse yourself to appreciate the details, reality has many layers.
