Sometimes I see potential in a photo for these effects. Sometimes I just go willy nilly and see what happens. Sometimes I just put the photo in the trash and start over.
This is done using a layer mask and blur effect in Photoshop Elements.

Covid situation getting worse..our whole state of Victoria is in lockdown now due to the spread of the delta variant to the regional areas. Too many infectious cases not in isolation in the community and too many mystery cases that cannot be linked to known clusters is making it very hard to control the spread.
Today is day 202 of lockdown for us in Melbourne since the start of the pandemic.
Still we are better off than the poor souls who are trying to flee Afghanistan !

Two trams again - this is a similar traffic situation as in the previous upload, just a different point of view.
The background tram is coming out of the Arnulfstraße, entering the Bahnhofsplatz square; while the foreground tram comes out of Prielmayerstraße from the Stachus square, entering the Dachauer Straße.

I think when we are going to design images, in our imagination there are several levels that must be passed. like space in our minds. and every person has different abilities to get past that level.
an architect is different from the results of the drawings he made with a design. a different design results of the drawings he made with a painter. a natural painter is different from the results he made with an abstact painter. an abstact painter is different from the drawings he made with a painter surrealist.
I think as an image (translator of imaginary nature) must be able to enter all space in the world of imagination, take pictures and then share with us that are in the real world without being affected by the situation in that room.

It has been a long day for me yesterday.
It's not that easy to get help in a situation of big pain if you have to go a longer way for it (for me 65 km by car).
But the feeling after treatment, when you feel the difference directly...
And I had a beautiful view on the mountains too. 😊
They build their mud nests on cliff faces, bridges, highway overpasses, culverts and under eaves. Their nests are communal, one next to the other. These were under the eaves of a park maintenance building, a challenging lighting situation.
Loneliness allow you soul room to grow. Try always to see something positive in all situations and you will feel good.

This wonderful jaguar was the first one we found in our last expedition to Pantanal. The situation there is very sad, the forests are burnt and the the drought lasts for 3 years. I hope that soon the monsoon starts and bring life back to Pantanal. Luckily, the site where the jaguars are didn't suffer so much from the fires and we were lucky to find female jaguars with cubs, which I'll be posting in the coming days.
Facts: The jaguar (Panthera onca) is a big cat, a feline in the Panthera genus, and is the only extant Panthera species native to the Americas. The jaguar is the third-largest feline species after the tiger and the lion, and the largest in the Americas. The jaguar is a near-threatened species and its numbers are declining. Threats include loss and fragmentation of habitat. While international trade in jaguars or their parts is prohibited, the cat is still frequently killed by humans, particularly in conflicts with ranchers and farmers in Brazil.

Kookaburras are terrestrial tree kingfishers of the genus Dacelo native to Australia and New Guinea, which grow to between 28–42 cm in length. The name is a loanword from Wiradjuri guuguubarra, onomatopoeic of its call. The loud distinctive call of the laughing kookaburra is widely used as a stock sound effect in situations that involve an Australian bush setting or tropical jungle, especially in older movies. They are found in habitats ranging from humid forest to arid savanna, as well as in suburban areas with tall trees or near running water. Even though they belong to the larger group known as kingfishers, kookaburras are not closely associated with water. Kookaburras are almost exclusively carnivorous, eating mice, snakes, insects, small reptiles, and the young of other birds; unlike many other kingfishers, they rarely eat fish, although they have been known to take goldfish from garden ponds. In zoos they are usually fed food for birds of prey. 2393
Call it luck or perhaps providence - accidentally locking ourselves out of a rented yurt immediately on arrival allowed us to help a similarly afflicted couple next to us a few days later. With staff gone for the day, their situation was a bit more dire - everything was locked inside, including phones, wallets, car keys, and even winter coats. We were subsequently all able to enjoy the scenery and one of them is checking out photo compositions in this image.

Pareidolia is defined as a situation in which someone sees a pattern or image of something that did not exist.
This small sculpture I found on a recent trip intrigued me enough to have an impromptu photo session. I'm so glad I did. The image has seized my imagination, lending itself to stories galore.
It seems that Fynn has meanwhile given up the idea of digging a tunnel into the garden of the rabbits. He is now working on plan B which seems to involve the cat net which the neighbour installed several years ago to stop my cats from visiting his rabbits. It didn't really work as the cats can always walk around the house and enter his garden from the other side, That's exactly what Fynn usually does but that doesn't stop him from trying to find a shortcut.
