Sethi often sits like this, it seems to be a comfortable pose for him and he usually does it when he is completely relaxed. I love to see him in this pose as it looks so funny and I can never resist taking a photo. :)

J'ai vu ce beau renard en train de chasser en allant affûter un terrier de blaireau. Par chance j'étais cachée derrière la lisière de la forêt et j'ai pu le prendre en photo sans le déranger ! J'ai remarqué après coup en zoomant sur mes photos qu'il s'agissait d'une femelle allaitante à ses mamelles dépilées !
I see this fox hunting on my way to observe a badger burrow. Luckily i was hidden behind the edge of the forest and i could photograph it without disturbing it. I noticed while zooming in on the photo that it was a mother vixen with her depilated breasts.

Hiked into a Douglas fir grove that is being threatend by lumber companies. These babies are at least 600 years old. Hopefully once peolpe see these photos in the paper the logging can be stopped. They want to selectively log the perimeter of the grove , but that will cause these trees to be exposed to damaging winds and rock slides.

Beeeg sigh of RELIEF!!! The painting in complete and a bit of straightening up will seal the deal! Decided to switch things up a bit and go with my fav-OH-rite little character and do a bit of chilling with him! This was taken a while back and this particular Green Heron is sporting he breeding plumage which includes the blue lores and the salmon colored legs! He was perched atop this tall tree remnant at the entrance to Gator Gauntlet (Gary calls it Alligator Alley) on Horsepen Bayou! He had little concern for me floundering around in my canoe below him taking photos!
Good luck to those people stuck in tropical storm Bill's path! Hope the impact on things are minimal! Things are doing quite nicely here in Houston! Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!
