I took this photo of Sethi for the Happy Caturday theme "Black & White". Sethi had to volunteer because mono works best for the tabbies (Tofu looks like a ghost in black and white). I always love other people's b&w photos and never like my own but I did my best (although Sethi wasn't convinced). :) Happy Caturday !

it's funny, I used to get excited to find spotted towhees. Now that I've learned their calls and habitats, I see them all the time. The thing that makes the shot special is getting them when they're not buried in undergrowth or bushes. This shot was at Commonwealth Lake.

Ontdekte dat het oude nest was verdwenen,

maar bij toeval toen ik de pinksterbloem aan het fotograferen was dat de zwaan een nieuw plek en nest heeft tussen het riet,

Ik ga het aankomend weekend zeker kijken of er al van die lieve kleine zwaantjes zwemmen :-)
