The Werregarenstraatje, a pedestrian street in the center of Ghent, is a graffiti-free zone. Officially, tagging is not permitted, but the practice is tolerated. This free zone was created during the 1995 Ghent Festivities for a graffiti project with a limited number of works on the walls. The street was soon renamed “the graffiti street”.
Got out to do some snow shoeing this weekend with my buddy Alan. It was really REALLY cold this morning, and I think it got below zero during the night.

The north west shore of East Sister Island, in the southern Andamans. The Sister Islands are an uninhabited wildlife refuge and, aside from the beach shown, have rocky shorelines. We anchored here for lunch during a fishing trip.
Two Sisters Antiques is located in downtown Sandwich,IL. The old brick home is historically significant as one of the earliest permanent structures in the town, built in the 1850's as a meeting house for the fledgling towns early leaders. It has been added on to several times, but still shows a lot of great early details inside...

Either a sign of old age or an 0515 start, but neither Iain nor I fancied killing time on Skye waiting for a sunset that was looking less likely as the day went on. We decided to start heading home and to stop if anything caught our eye. At the end of Loch Duich we spotted some cloud around the tops of the Five Sisters and detoured towards Ratagan. After a walk around trying to find a shot we had all but decided to give it a miss when this blanket of cloud suddenly started to tumble down the peaks. Change of plan......
Funny enough, I moved to Western Canada at the beginning of the summer, drove by the what is probably Canmore most recognizable peaks, The Three Sisters, countless times on my way to Banff National Park and it's not until late in the fall that I recognized them and decided to try and photograph them. I can't wait for the summer to come back around and shoot that same location when there is a little more life in the scene.
