There is the Devil’s Mountain in the south west of Berlin and the Müggelberg in the sounth east of Berlin that offer a fantastic trail network as well as quiet roads for peaceful offorad and onroad cycling experiences. We never know what we will see as we return home. Last Friday we saw lots of people in fancy dress, today it was a chap riding his unicycle, he was getting along much faster than the traffic. I'd like to say that the composition was deliberate but I can't as it was a happy accident.

These tiny Cyclamon flowers were growing in our garden but it was dull and wet today, so I picked two to take some close-up shots. This shot of one of them looks like some sort of aerodynamic turbine. I like the subtle colouring in this shot.

In 1836, Mrs. Bingham planted the hedge of Hylocereus undatus, the famed cactus known in Hawaii as panini o kapunahou. Its exotic blossoms still bloom during the closing summer months on the Punahou walls. The hedge is on two sides of the school and about three hundred meters (football fields) long.
From July to as late as October the hedge blooms and several times there is a wall of white flowers hundreds of yards long. Supposedly all the H. undatus in Hawaii came from the wall of Punahou School. People used to come in the evenings from all over the island to see them blooming and "borrow" some cuttings so that now they have this species all over the islands.

The Bailiffs House in High Street, Bewdley, a licensed bar and restaurant.
Painted on the main beam at the front of the house, in one long single line is the following.
"Built around 1607 this fine timber frame dwelling now known as The Bailiffs House is of much historic interest. In 1606 the town of Bewdley was granted a Charter by King James I, and the office of town Bailiff was created at that time with a committee of Burgesses to oversee municipal administration. The header panel over the door is inscribed - T 1610 B - Thomas Bouston was the first Bailiff of Bewdley and lived here until his death at Ribbesford nr Bewdley 17th October 1621"
An eye-catching Karen Hill Tribe fine silver curved bead has been hand stamped with a single flower and some vinery. This curved bead is centered between 7-8 mm fresh water silvery-grey potato pearls and four sterling silver Bali spacers. A sterling silver lobster claw clasp and O-ring complete the piece. The bracelet is light and is intended to "float" on the wrist.

To the left is the nature reserve, in the distance the nature reserve ends where wheat fields are rudely carved out of the mallee. (Mallee is a uniquely Australian type of dry scrub where the dominant tree is a low, scrubby, multi-trunked Eucalypt called the mallee tree).
