What's a single girl to do at Thanksgiving. Everyone she knows was spending time with family and she turned down all invitations hoping that *he* would be home for the holiday. Chinese, anyone?

At least she has his photo for company.

Back To Single Life

You could buy a single celery stalk at Hannaford for $2.99 a pound (right above that they were selling full heads of celery for $1.99)

Only one thing on their mind now: SHOPPING!

This Beach Shop is at the bottom of Pier Street, where it turns left onto the seafront. There is a cafe above the kiosk. It used to be an amusement arcade with slot machines. There was a machine that was based on the TV series UFO - you sat inside it and spun around as you attempted to shoot down alien space ships. I saved the human race on several occasions. In the 1960's there was a large vending machine outside that dispensed cold milk in pyramid shaped cardboard cartons - one variety came in a most unnatural looking shade of green. Sandown. The jig you use is just a hub. Take your time and get them as straight as possible before you tack weld them into the frame.

Great bike; 32x16 gearing; easy to spin out, sure, but great for hills.

It was great! What an experience it was! We travelled down to Silverstone but my Single-Seater Experience (courtesy of my wife) was not due to start until late in the afternoon. So, we booked a room at a local venue for the night and made a day out of it and tagged it on to the start of our annual holiday. The weather couldn’t have been better. Approaching the circuit the adrenaline started to flow, screaming tyres and the raw of engines revving filled the air and I’d still got a few hours to kill. I didn’t know how I was going to last! After booking in, time was spent viewing other experiences taking place (Lotus, Aston Martin and other “hot rides” etc). Conscious of the fact I couldn’t afford to eat too much as the extra weight would interfere with my lap times, a little light lunch was needed. At the forefront of my mind was my single-seater experience. My time fast approached and soon enough there I was (race driver for the day) sat in my cockpit waiting behind the pace car for my thrill to begin! Then it was Go! Go! Go! I could remember my brother telling me from his experience a year ago to push the pace car, so that’s what I did. Just doing that, the heart rate and blood pressure started to rise! I held back a couple of times then on the straight and the odd bend I floored it. Oh boy! After a few laps it was back in the pits. Everything OK? Are you ready to go it alone? Too right I was! Then “now’s your chance to shine” I thought to myself and away I went! The power of the cars felt tremendous and it was such a pleasure not worry about on-coming traffic or 5 points on your license! We’re not racing of course, it’s an experience! RIGHT! In my mind: now don’t forget you only have two overtaking spots so let’s go for it. Right, let’s catch the driver up in front. Oh words just aren’t enough! Am I going to have enough time to get past before I reach my breaking point for the next corner, yes, yes ,yes! What a fantastic day out, I never shut up talking about it! I was on such a high it was unreal. Highly recommended, best value for money experience I have ever had and can’t wait to do it again!! Thanks to all the staff for making my experience one I will never forget!

This whole group I worked in Affinity and got really nice results without much fuss.. I'm about ready to ditch Luminar since their catalog function has failed me!

A fairly non-commital ID, I know, but I don't know what these cells are. They appeared in the sea water I collected with the green filamentous alga (see next two uploads).
