Just playing around in Photoshop...I think I'll do one for my hip hop dancer as well and give them to the girls as thanks for always being willing to do a shoot with me.

I did not feel like I was going to get a good picture to upload today and took a bunch of shots that did not leave me motivated to take more. But once I took this one, I knew right away it was a keeper!
There is a lot of red/orange in this picture with the flower and the brick, but I really liked the focus and that I captured the window on the brick wall.
Also, HBWE!
This is my first try with single RAW HDR conversion. The building and the trees have been strongly underexposed. So I developed the RAW with the Sony software "Image Data Converter". Then I made 3 different exposures which I combined with the software Luminance HDR. Finally, I applied some tone mapping with the software Picturenaut. This is certainly not a great work, but still it is my first try. The colors are nice and the details which appear now on the building make the fotograph more interesting. Looking forward to make my first true HDR image in the near future.

Tried with a few colour bakcgrounds and went with the funky orange contrast.

Pennington Flash, Leigh. Another view of the heron I photographed last week. I'm not going to be able to use my camera for a while as I had an operation a couple of days ago and haven't to lift anything heavy. I'm going to ask my husband to set it up on a tripod just in case something exciting comes into our garden (which is bound to happen if I don't do this!). I'm feeling sore and a bit sorry for myself just now - but I'll catch up with all my contacts when I can.
