One of those days when the light, colder temperature and a little mushroom look perfect together.
Soon we are heading for Spring so these pictures will be memories we can look back at.
This is a shot of one of the Arapuni Dams in early morning fog. Not a place to linger on foot with big milk tankers driving past!
The first six of 37 Alco broad gauge DL500Bs built for the South Australian Railways were single-ended units, while the remainder also had a cab at the B 'flat' end.
The last two single-enders 934/931 head the Sunday afternoon Mt Gambier goods #1745 up the grade towards Eden Hills, South Australia. on 29 June 1992. 934 was withdrawn in January 93 and 931 a few months later.

A single snowdrop growing through bark mulch. We transplanted several clumps around our garden last spring. This one will divide into a clump over the next few years.

Double stack well cars made an appearance on the Alaska Railroad having arrived off the CN barge. Because of clearance restrictions in the Anton Anderson and Portage tunnels they could only be single stacked. Containers are full of Frac Sand.
CN 2099 and 2562 lead a rerouted Q19991-29 down the ramp from 16th Street Tower, about to duck under 18th St and negotiate 21st St Crossing. Due to total replacement of the interlocking at Homewood, for several days all traffic normally routed via the former EJ&E to the south end of Markham Yard via Matteson could only access the north end, resulting in reroutes through the city. Northbound traffic used the ex-IC Chicago and Freeport Subdivisions to Munger to access the "J", and southbounds used the Waukesha Sub to the IHB connection at B-12, then the Eldson Sub from Blue Island to the Markham connection at Harvey. Due to clearance issues on the IC route through Chicago, intermodal traffic is not normally routed this way, thus, the rerouted trains could not operate with doublestacked containers, as is the norm on their regular route.
8876 (SN17MMV) is seen on the U5 at Mulberry Parade
NOTE: Usually, if WS260 is a single decker, it'd sub after half a rounder at Uxbridge, where driver of WS261 would swap for 260 to take it back to the depot.
Today, it appeared they didn't do this operation, making it more rarer then usual.
Here we see 8876, branded for 195, out and about on the U5.
Apologies for the poor quality; this was due to the fact this actually being the first ever time of me getting a nightshot on my camera. Hopefully I’ll get to produce better shots soon.

Just as they have since the line opened, trains stop to exchange single line tokens at Glenwhilly. The signalman left it until the last seconds before he emerged from his box to avoid the midges!

Thank you.
Originating in the West Indies, Mexico, and Central and South America, the flower is known botanically as Eustoma grandiflorum.
The common name comes from the Greek words lysis, meaning 'dissolution' and anthos, meaning 'flower'.
Colours include white, light and dark pink, lavender and deep purple. Double and single-flower varieties exist.
Many people do not know what it is, but everyone loves it!
For years I 'experimented' in the studio, to get that Flemish painter's light? Well, I was born in Flanders, it must be in my blood? LOL.
THANK you, M, (*_*)

放晴了,走了一趟台南,心情也隨之綻放了~
I meant to have a short trip, a couple of hours, and it turned out to be a fruitful day... Happy Sunday evening, my friends!

Metroline DEL1977 (YX12AYK) working WJ947 on the Northern Line rail replacement service, approaches York Way at King's Cross to load up on a trip to Archway and Finchley Central.
It is very unusual to have single deck buses on a double deck rail service. Due to a few late problems, two single deck buses were drafted in to cover. This shouldn't normally happen but this is better than having no bus! Willesden Junction DE1616 was used in the morning.
