Katie Cole performs a set on a short notice, just a few days after returning from her Nashville songwriting trip. Due to the last-minute nature, not many fans showed up, but the show was all the more enjoyable for it!
This show featured a smaller band, with Nick Bearden on drums (and guitar as well) and Matt Reyes on bass; guitarist Brad Lindsay was not present, and neither was keyboardist Ruby Biloskirka-Conley who was off to Hong Kong.

Anna Nalick has slowed down her public activities a bit, as she continues to write songs for her next album, scheduled for early 2013. However, she did schedule a few shows at her usual venue, Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, to mark ten years of her performing original material in the public eye; in fact, at the beginning of the show, she stated that Hotel Cafe was her very first public venue back in the day!
A very low-key, acoustic set for this performance. Pianist Will Gramling was the only backup musician present.
For yours truly, this performance was a personal milestone: it was my 20th Anna Nalick performance.

Meiko, originally from Roberta, Georgia, worked for a while as Hotel Cafe's waitress and bartender, before becoming a singer-songwriter in her own right, performing not only at her former employer but at many other venues throughout the US.
Meiko uses a Japanese stage name, partly to honor her maternal grandmother who was indeed Japanese.
