The first generation Singer Vogue I/II/III/IV models of 1961 to 1966, was a badge engineered version of the Hillman Super Minx. Introduced in July 1961, it was positioned above the Super Minx and Singer Gazelle in the Rootes Group range, and had quadruple headlights as well as a more powerful 66 bhp (49 kW; 67 PS) version of the 1,592 cc (97.1 cu in) Minx engine. The Series II version for 1963 had front disc brakes as standard, changes to the interior, removal of the chrome bonnet strip and a change to amber front indicator lenses. The Series III of 1964 gained six light bodywork and an increase in power to 84 bhp (63 kW; 85 PS). The final version of this generation, the Series IV was introduced at the 1965 motor show[clarification needed] and saw the engine size increased to 1,725 cc (105.3 cu in) although there was no change in power output. The first generation Vogue was offered as a four door saloon and as an estate car.

attached to a VO rack... The elastic loops onto the vertical rear support of the rack then travels underneath the mid cross member of a rack to keep the front of the bag from bouncing. This works surprisingly well.

star, singer-songwriter Aubrey Burchell. This industrious songstress is busy gigging around the local area, and beyond, while also creating original songs, the next of which will be released during the coming month or so.

Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir observer des singes hurleurs à plusieurs reprise malgré le fait qu'ils soient assez discrets
Les singes hurleurs, aussi appelés alouates, sont les plus grands singes d'Amérique du Sud. Trapus et massifs avec une longue queue qu'ils utilisent comme un 5ème membre pour se déplacer dans les arbres où ils passent la majorité du temps, il vivent en groupes d'une dizaine d'individus sous la responsabilité d'un dominant. Dans la forêt amazonienne, leurs cris territoriaux puissants, amplifiés par une poche gonflable sous le cou, peuvent porter sur des km et servent à informer les autres groupes des territoires respectifs de chacun. Ces cris spectaculaires évitent les conflits, les singes hurleurs étant en réalité des animaux très paisibles qui passent beaucoup de temps à se reposer.
Le Hurleur roux (Alouatta macconnelli - Linnaeus, 1766 , autrefois Alouetta seniculus) appelé localement Baboune, et dont le poids peut atteindre pour les mâles les plus gros jusqu'à 10 kg. Sa face est noire et il possède une grande barbe qui masque sa gorge.
Il vit en petit groupe de 4 à 7 individus. Chaque groupe est dirigé par un mâle dominant qui s’occupe de la protection de son territoire.
Ils vivent perchés dans les arbres, ils s’y déplacent habilement mais relativement lentement. Ils sont de bon sauteur car ils se servent de leur queue préhensile.
Il leur arrive de descendre au sol mais n’y passent jamais la nuit.
Il est fréquemment victime des trafiquants d’animaux.
During the fifties the Rootes Group acquired a great number of British car manufacturers but alas a lack of funding led to their demise in 1964 when Chrysler acquired their portfolio. One model built under their ownership was the Singer Gazelle which entered production in 1956. It is seen here showing off its polished chrome at a local gathering in Wakefield.
By the time we reached Bethesda Terrace it was rather dark, so the luminous beauty of the fountain next to the water was unavailable to naked eyes.
It was also too late (and off season) for the rowboats filled with summer dresses and their sparkling reflections in the water, but you could hear from the of the terrace what sounded like a concert nearby. A powerful, Rufus-Wainwright- sort-of-voice, perhaps.
Walking down the stairs, inside of the arcade, we found this singer serenading the lonely arches with the lyrics of "Somewhere over the rainbow" in what looked like an intimate and almost surreal ceremony of solitude.
Such are the surprises that New York City holds for curious strollers in september nights.
I can't help but think that any beautiful place somewhere over the rainbow must have a terrace and a fountain and an arcade just as beautiful as these.
Missie Glam is the lead singer and face of the Rockity Rollers. She is very popular and her posters are the best sellers! Missie is known for her energetic antics on stage and off! Since the "Big Salad Incident", some reporters are too frightened to interview her.
