attached to a VO rack... The elastic loops onto the vertical rear support of the rack then travels underneath the mid cross member of a rack to keep the front of the bag from bouncing. This works surprisingly well.

During the fifties the Rootes Group acquired a great number of British car manufacturers but alas a lack of funding led to their demise in 1964 when Chrysler acquired their portfolio. One model built under their ownership was the Singer Gazelle which entered production in 1956. It is seen here showing off its polished chrome at a local gathering in Wakefield.

Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir observer des singes hurleurs à plusieurs reprise malgré le fait qu'ils soient assez discrets
Les singes hurleurs, aussi appelés alouates, sont les plus grands singes d'Amérique du Sud. Trapus et massifs avec une longue queue qu'ils utilisent comme un 5ème membre pour se déplacer dans les arbres où ils passent la majorité du temps, il vivent en groupes d'une dizaine d'individus sous la responsabilité d'un dominant. Dans la forêt amazonienne, leurs cris territoriaux puissants, amplifiés par une poche gonflable sous le cou, peuvent porter sur des km et servent à informer les autres groupes des territoires respectifs de chacun. Ces cris spectaculaires évitent les conflits, les singes hurleurs étant en réalité des animaux très paisibles qui passent beaucoup de temps à se reposer.
Le Hurleur roux (Alouatta macconnelli - Linnaeus, 1766 , autrefois Alouetta seniculus) appelé localement Baboune, et dont le poids peut atteindre pour les mâles les plus gros jusqu'à 10 kg. Sa face est noire et il possède une grande barbe qui masque sa gorge.
Il vit en petit groupe de 4 à 7 individus. Chaque groupe est dirigé par un mâle dominant qui s’occupe de la protection de son territoire.
Ils vivent perchés dans les arbres, ils s’y déplacent habilement mais relativement lentement. Ils sont de bon sauteur car ils se servent de leur queue préhensile.
Il leur arrive de descendre au sol mais n’y passent jamais la nuit.
Il est fréquemment victime des trafiquants d’animaux.
