Simulation illustrating the Bureau of Land Management's "preferred alternative" for this area: 1,800 coalbed methane wells and 125 other wells, located on individual well pads that are about 2 acres in size, and connected by a network of new and existing, upgraded access roads. The closest well spacing shown is one well every 80 acres.
This is a photo from a training exercise at Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary hospital, in preparation for the G8. I did the makeup for this little girl, and the doctors thought it was real and whisked her away from the simulation area to try and treat her. She burst in to tears! When heading back to the make-up room the police then tried to send her back to A&E again, thinking she was really hurt. She cried again. I'm really sorry for making that wee girl cry so much, but I'm really chuffed about doing such realistic make-up!
Orbiter 2010 and 2016 versions are largely compatible. 2016 has better terrain graphics, 2010 has more supported addon spacecraft. In screenshot pairs, the top one is Orbiter 2010.
