Sometimes, in the simplest things, the most common is the true beauty of nature.

On many occasions, nature photographers seek the most shocking photo, or the most impressive place, but never forget that we are surrounded by simple and true beauty.

I hope you like it. Have a nice Thursday. :)

A dear friend of mine told me she wanted a Tiara. So I am a bit of a smart ass so I took a picture of my ring from Pandora.

T. S. Eliot speaks of “music heard so deeply that it isn’t heard at all, but you are the music while the music lasts.” And he sees in this experience an aspect of “the moment in and out of time.” When we learn to combine the two and live “in and out of time,” we turn the polarity between time and now, between instant and ecstasy, into a creative tension. This inner gesture allows us to live full and creative lives.

Today while digging a hole to plant yet another yard shrub I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful this Iris looked. I see it as “Simplicity In May” I’m so taken aback by the simple beauty that Spring delivers every year. Winter seems longer because we know how pleased we’ll be when April arrives ushering in beautiful days coming in May. I hope you too will be listening to the infamous singer Johnny Nash as he sings “I Can See Cleary Now.” Thanks for viewing my photos. Gratitude and Kindness are ever present in May like all of the months.

ur comments make me IMPROVE =D

I know who I am. I am not perfect. I'm not the most beautiful woman in the world. But I'm one of them.

The contrast between the sky, the green field and the brown field just inspired me to make this image

Abstract in available natural light using extension tubes.

dense fog this morning, the bluehour heralded no dawn just offered a blue blanket. I was alone entirely 5am on St Mary's beach save for the birds, not even the Lighthouse herself was visible. only 20 metres of causeway showing and the feeling was one of exceptional simplicity, serenity, and peace.

Have printed this both ways as I like the square that shows in the thumbnail too.

I like the simplicity that nature offers.

I liked the simplicity of this. It’s just a weed and I’d mow that sucker down if it were in my yard, but find it elsewhere and I’m all, oooh this is interesting let’s photograph it! Lol.

A pink cosmos stands with grace,

A garden is a special place.

Petals soft, a gentle hue,

Basking in the morning dew.

Against the white sky, pure and bright,

A contrast of serene delight.

No complex lines, no tangled maze,

Just nature's art in sunlight's gaze.

In the quiet, where it grows,

A story of simplicity shows.

Beauty is found in simple things,

Like pink petals and the joy they bring.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. ~Leonardo DaVinci

This is from the same shoot as the last photo, but after looking at them, I think I like this one better. Let me know what you think. Again, I think this is best viewed LARGE

Pieris on Strawberry flower.

Pieride sur fleur de Fraisier.

The beauty of a single branch with fall's left over red leaves is often overlooked in preference of a tree full of leaves. In this case I liked the effect of the simplicity of just a few red leaves on a single branch.
