I love these; found them earlier this year in a local shop. I think about who may have owned them before and what conversations and secrets may have been shared at those tables.
My sincere thanks to each of you who visits and takes time to leave a note -- I really appreciate it and will do my best to visit in return as soon as I can.
This looks like a simple job but it took most of the day to paint and then clean the paint back off. I found that spraying the whole thing then wiping it off was not the best way, it's better to use a small brush then just clean the edges.

For anyone who remembers the dreaded exams, for those who teach, mark or enjoy a laugh, or for scientists wishing to take a look at the scientific world in a different light, then this is the book for you. Over the last ten or so years, I have been collecting "student bloopers" - all of them true and genuine, some of which you would not believe, others which make little sense, even to the trained eye! They come from a variety of exam boards, papers and levels but there are some, even now after reading them many times, which never fail to bring a smile to my face. Whilst this may be a humorous book, I believe it can genuinely be used as a teaching tool for the many misconceptions that occur in students' minds and, if that helps one person, then it has done a good job. Read and enjoy.

Nothing much else to say other than the title. Thought these were simple but lovely little flowers pointing themselves towards the afternoon sun.
Here's an eye-catching 0.75 inch (1.9 cm) circle fine art antique brass adjustable ring. This tiny acrylic painting is one-of-a-kind, and depicts a simple white scroll flower on a sandy brown background.
This original miniature painting was created with high quality acrylic paints on a wooden tile. The painting was then sealed on every surface making it water-resistant, and then received a high-gloss resin finish which gives it a very shiny and polished look. The finished effect is similar to that of a heavy glass ring, but it is actually very lightweight. The ring features an antique brass adjustable ring securely attached to the back. The ring can be adjusted up to just above a size eight.
Each miniature work of art is signed by me on the back.
A new, simple, and addictive game we picked up recently (though we learned it with different rules, and you can play it with any dice, so we basically just wanted the rubber cup). It's Farkle! It's Farkletastic!

My simple joy this week is the kindness of my husband. He is my best friend and not a day goes by that I don’t thank the Lord that he is in my life. I took this picture because it is of his latest project that is sitting on a 3D print of his head. The combination reminded me of a few of the many things I admire about him . . .
You see, he is one of those creative types of people who feels filled within by always creating. I’ve spent the past 30 years watching him pour himself into his creations and being the recipient of some of them. Prop building is one thing I’ve seen him settle into and find a home. It isn’t hard when he is surround by a prop building family that cares and supports each other. I often sneak into his workshop to watch him and/or look over his build progress. I’ve gotta say that he is an amazing builder and his sanding to make things smooth is legendary . . .
I not only admire his talent but I also the fact that he shows kindness towards others. I kid you not that when we are at Cons it can take us over an hour to get across the floor because so many people are stopping us to chat with him. He will take the time to chat with each person, ask about their costume/prop and discuss the techniques taken to create them. I’ve also been in situations where we were standing in line at the grocery store and someone (a stranger) behind us follows him and strikes up a conversation . . . this leads to a new friendship. People matter to him.
His kindness is one of the things that attracted me to him. Watching him show it to others brings me joy.

This "reality show" featured two celebrities who basically entertainmed viewers by mocking families that were more "simple" than theirs.
