Just one lone grape hyacinth poked through the ground at the cabin.
I liked how, even with the blue color selected on the camera, this whole shot seems muted and so simple.

Here is my fabric selection for the Dead Simple QAL. I used the argyle fabric as my palette and all those fabrics were in my stash.

I always make the backs this way / unquilted, simple overlap envelope, makes it so easy to take on and off for washing and SO simple and fast to sew. No complicated zipper nonsense for me, thank you.

Taken during a helicopter ride. I was surprised to see the copter going right above the Airport. Anyways i made most of the opporunity and clicked a few snaps. Here the huge Boeing 747 looking like a miniature toy!
I took my daughter to see Simple Plan this summer. She insisted on getting closer to the band, towards the stage. The funny thing is that once we got to where we could not go further she realized she was too short to see the stage because the crowd was two heads taller than she is. Any way... you had to be there.
