Great example of what the new firmware can do on the a7II when using SSM lenses and LA-EA3 adapter. The new firmware allows full AF capabilities on the a7II. Still not super quick AF with this combo, but for still shorts it is fantastic. Sony a7II, LA-EA3 A to E adapter and Sony (70200SAL) 70-200mm F/2.8 G lens.

Not wanting to go through Madison, I chose to make my way back via Canova, and I see the Howard Junction substation (serving Winfred, Ramona, and part of Junius) has long since been replaced by a lone pad-mount transformer, barely visible behind the guy-wire pole. The switch pole and corner pole were added to bypass the substation.
(my reason for bypassing Madison is simple: they love to write speeding tickets - 43 in a 40 zone? Really? It wasn't cheap either!)
A card I made for the weekly challenge on the Penny Black blog. The challenge this week was to make a simple card. I also used some parts of a Basic Grey card kit, so this was a very easy and fast card and simple enough I think!
The stamp is by Penny Black.
The cardstock is by Basic Grey.
I also used Stampin'Up! crystals in the flowers and "Crystal Stickle" on the candles.
The image was colored with Copic Markers.

As the sun set over the Dead Sea, Jordan, and we packed up to leave, this image seemed to sum up the peace we all seek.
Going through a macro / nature / bokeh on point & shoot camera / Picnik phase so bare with me here ppl (:
a white lily with a ti leaf, palm, and lily grass. The chair clusters were tied on with a rope of ti leaf lei instead of ribbon.
