Zookeepers tell me that Romaine lettuce is like candy for giraffes; they love it! On the other hand, it's neutral for their diet.
But, I've observed that feeding lettuce to giraffes can be wonderful for humans. There's something in the interaction.
This was for a small wedding. The cake is lemon pound with lemon curd filling, vanilla buttercream, and chocolate fondant bands around the bases of each tier. The bride added the beautiful fresh orchids on top.
Gourdon is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. Gourdon offers magnificent panoramic views.
History and geography
In the distant past, this isolated rock was used as a place of refuge and defence. Gourdon, as it appears to us today, gives a good example of a Feudal village. It is built on a peak whose impressive slopes will, after many hundreds of rock falls, end their days in the Loup River. There is only one entrance, from which you can access the main street. In former times, it was defended by a simple and harmonious Roman gate, that has been demolished at the beginning of the century. Thick, high ramparts close off the North side, which is the only point from which the village can be approached.
Tourism
The castle is one of Gourdon's most important features. It has been open to visitors since 1950, and was classed as an historical monument in 1971. Its magnificent gardens were designed by André Le Nôtre. Its architecture dates from the ninth century.
This is the "No" ballot in the Swedish referendum two years ago. There is one simple question on this ballot: "Do you think Sweden should adopt the Euro as its currency?". The question is about policy, not a particular legal text.
Voters will select either a "no" or a "yes" ballot, stuff it in a special envelope, and drop it in the ballot box. There's no need to write on the ballot, fill in bubbles or punch holes in it.
Why did I bring the "no" ballot with me and not both? Well, at the San Francisco consulate where I voted, there were just a handful of yeses left but plenty of nos. I took a whole day off, and rode the Amtrak five hours each way just to cast my vote.

My treasured shot. I wanted a shot of the little girl on the left smiling, and this was the third attempt...and I could only get it while other people distracted the other children because they would run to have their picture taken.
These little girls had nothing but the clothes on their back. They lived in single room dung huts....even still they never stopped smiling. They smiled more had have less than anyone I've seen back in the US.

simple tap sequencer that functions like the tap / pattern clear on tr-606
In this video, the simple tap sequencer is being clocked by the tr-606. The tap sequencer is triggering a 909 kick. The highhat and snare sounds are from the 606.
Above the green button is a bi color LED, green indicating clock pulse, red indicating step 1 (BAR).
the red LED in the corner is the trigger output indicator.
as you can see, green button is the TAP record. It places a trigger pulse onto current step.
The red button is the pattern clear. while held it clears the current step.
The blue button is a step forward button (in parallel with clock input)

Here are some simple methods to get the "Orton-Effect". Note that some of the images are a bit exaggerated in order to make the effect easier to see.
Method 1 is described here, Pisco Bandito told me Method 2, the Methods 3 and 4 where described in the Orton-Group and Method 5 is the way I do it.
As for "Fog + Original": I'm not quite sure if you should call this an "Orton-Effect", however the result is simiar.
Any comments and suggestions are welcome.
