The great thing about the epic landscape is that it presents an entirely different universe from season to season, from day to day, from hour to hour, from second to second, with the ever changing wind, tides, clouds, and sun. A split second with the flying clouds, tumbling surf, and a sinking sun can make a vast difference, resulting in entirely different photographs.

Epic Poetry for Epic Landscape Photography:
Life isn't all that complicated I think. We make it complicated. We make it harder for ourselves. Everybody does it, we can't really help it.
Sometimes I ask myself "What's the point of making life so hard when we can have a simple easy life? Living a simple and easy life is relaxing, no stress, just plain simple." But then I think about it more, and realize, if life is always so simple and easy.. What's going to be next? There are nothing for us to solve, there are nothing for us to fix. Life would be pretty boring without problems. We would have nothing to do, just sitting there, although it's relaxing. Human, we get bored.
But then again, it is pretty awesome to have a relaxing, problems-free period where we can just sit there and chill, enjoy the weather or something. Hangout with the people you want to be with, let the wind blow you away. No stress. Simple.
Ps: The girl next to me, she's Charlotte and she's amazing. I miss her and I can't wait for her to come back and visit :)
Here's a wedding cake that I delivered to my colleague's wedding on the day I was leaving for holiday :-) Lauren wanted the flower, decorating her dress to appear on the cake, otherwise the cake should be simple and elegant. She was wearing an incredibly beautiful wedding dress and I tried to use as many details from it as possible - drapes, color, flowers :-) That cake was huge :-) The dummy base was 45 cm and it was my first time covering such a big one with mmf. Not as smooth as I would like it to be, but the bride was very happy and that's what matters, right? ;-)

I added and extra 4 cm to the top of the pattern, because the pattern as is did not fit over the cloth diapered bum of my baby :)

when cooking dinner at my mom and dad's house recently, i noticed they were short on potholders, so i decided to make some for my mom for christmas. i used three layers of regular batting and didn't add the decorative fabric strip.

Wikipedia reports: Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is on Navajo land east of Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon includes two separate, scenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as "Upper Antelope Canyon" or "The Crack"; and "Lower Antelope Canyon" or "The Corkscrew." The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tsé bighánÃlÃnÃ, which means 'the place where water runs through rocks'. Lower Antelope Canyon is Hazdistazà (called "Hasdestwazi" by the Navajo Parks and Recreation Department), or 'spiral rock arches'. Both are in the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation.
