Vintage film shows a mixed train at Silver Springs and mentions the date 1914. The title also includes the name Ocklawaha. Of course, the trackage was owned by the Seaboard. If the date is correct, then it might be better to associate this with the Ocala Northern Railroad, which wasn't absorbed by the Ocklawaha Valley Railroad until 1915. The Florida Central & Peninsular Railway's expanded depot at Silver Springs is shown with the Hart's Line steamboat Okeehumkee at the wharf in 1900. A sharp eye can catch the rail line's marked boxcar at the left corner of the building. Also of interest are some rails at the left side of the image, which belong to the old Silver Springs & Western Railroad.
