Alhambra, built atop a hill, was a palace and fortress of the Moorish monarchs of Granada, Spain. The name Alhambra, signifying in Arabic “the red,” is probably derived from the reddish colour of the earth of which the outer walls were built.

ABOUT THE FOUNTAIN OF WEALTH:
The Fountain of Wealth symbolizes wealth. In Chinese culture, water symbolizes wealth and life and the inward movement of water signifies the preservation of wealth for Suntec City. During certain periods of the day, the main fountain is turned off, so visitors are able to walk around a mini fountain at the center of the fountain’s base for good luck. At night, the fountain is the setting for laser performances, as well as “live” song and laser message dedications.

I've find myself restricted to the confines of my own garden presently, i went outside tonight and was caught between a magnificent rising of the Flowermoon and a gorgeous sunset, i tried to capture both in a full which do I do first in a 180 degree moment of choice, but came back to this one which I've played about with in photoshop. Now it takes TWO rebuilt GP9's to build a train in the yard that stretches east from the Western Division headquarters. A change was taking place, signified by the presence of those blue boxcars for hauling woodchips, from Whitewood, So.Dak., to the Consolidated Paper mill in Wisconsin Rapids. Little did I know that in three years I'd be seeing them at the other end of their route. These cars used to head east from Rapid City on the line to Winona, Minn., and on to Adams, Wisc., before being sent up to "Rapids." Now they were being sent down to Chadron and east to Wisconsin via the "Cowboy." I assume that once they got into Iowa, they would head up the former Rock Island to intersect with their former routing, and east to the paper mill. By this time the C&NW was seeking to end service on the "PRC" (Pierre to Rapid City), so traffic was being diverted. Money was being poured into this end of the railroad; I recall being told that the ties were from more heavily used parts of the C&NW. They might have been too worn out for those mainlines farther east, but in better shape than the ties - or the remains of them - that were being replaced. And rock ballast was being poured into a roadbed that was badly in need of it. Things were looking good for a "Cowboy" line rehab! For now.

_ The Politics and the Passion _
Some artists who design and create these murals across the country prefer to remain anonymous for obvious reasons. The process of creating a mural takes time, and while a traditional artist is safe in their own studio, the street artist has a minefield of social and political issues to address ...

The historical ones are brilliant especially If you don't know much about "the troubles" ( Na Trioblóidí ) and the ethno-nationalist conflict in NI during the late 20th century.
Murals or ‘murials’ as they are often wrongly labelled in the Ulster vernacular, have become one of Northern Ireland’s top tourist attractions.
The pride instilled in the production of the opposing political murals embodies the maxim repeated across Northern Ireland :
"Some gave All and All gave some". Whether Loyalist or Republican, both sides lost cherished members in defence of the crown or in defence of an autonomous Ireland.
Most mural attempt to demonstrate what the artist perceives to be the correct. They reflect the troubled history of Northern Ireland in a glaring and overwhelming fashion.
Republican murals and the Loyalist equivalents are known for exuding a more defiant and militaristic tone.Perhaps a cathartic and reactionary outlet for frustration and change.
Yet,they are an important part of the NI heritage and culture and give so much colour and vibrancy in the identity of the city.
But there’s a new kind of cultural expression in the city which is not only about the troubled past but one which is more forward looking and more positive sending out powerful messages.
“Northern Ireland's mural painting tradition dates back to 1908 and is the oldest continuous one in the world. In 1981 there was an explosion of republican murals due to the culmination of the hunger-strikes.
After the 1994 ceasefires and the Good Friday Agreement in 1998 painters in republican areas decided not to paint hooded gunmen any more. The guns are still there, but only in murals with historical or remembrance themes. They are open books of contemporary history.

This vibrant image captures the essence of life in Centro Habana, La Habana, Cuba, as a red car speeds through the bustling streets, leaving a trail of motion blur behind it.
In the background, we see the distinct architecture that characterizes Centro Habana, with its rich heritage and unique charm. The main building, prominently positioned in the center, features captivating blue doors that add a touch of intrigue to the scene.
Amidst this energetic backdrop, we encounter a Cuban man next to the corner, patiently waiting. He adds a human element to the composition, reminding us of the everyday lives that unfold amidst the dynamic pulse of the city.
To the back of the frame, a young man walks purposefully, seemingly unaffected by the car's swift passage. His presence signifies the diverse paths individuals take in this urban environment, as they navigate their own journeys amidst the vibrant tapestry of life.
This captivating photograph encapsulates the spirit of Centro Habana, where time seems to move at its own pace, blending the fast-paced energy of modern life with the enduring heritage of the past.
This collection of headstones neatly tucked against the wall reminded me of a family of chess pieces, and I suppose they do signify the absuloute final move of the game.

The Yorkshire Dales has always been an important area for sheep farming, and this has made a major contribution to the woollen industry, especially in the medieval era. A door can symbolize many things in our lives.
It can be something that represents the hope of possibilities;
the promise of new opportunity. It can convey the idea of change or transition. Sometimes it signifies prevention.
We often use the expression, 'when one door closes, another one opens' and it seems to be a truism in life. We think we know exactly what we want to do, or have, but despite our best efforts and how frequently we try to smash our way through, the door remains firmly shut. That's when frustrations can be calmed with the notion that perhaps there's something better ahead than we're presently aware of if we're patient and vigilant.
The phrase, 'the door of opportunity' is another truism and sometimes when we think back on our lives we can see where we successfully took advantage of the moment and the opportunity presented to us. Conversely, one of life's regrets can be the open door we ignored.
"What's it going to take to open the closed door?" We know we need, or want, to get to a certain position but some type of key is required. Many times that becomes a time of emotional, spiritual or intellectual pursuit of an answer to a mystery.
I suppose it's also true that doors can be the stuff of nightmares. What frightening thing is on the other side? But for the mostpart, at least to my way of thinking, a door can be a golden opportunity.

In a quiet corner of the Hogwarts grounds, a Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor were finding themselves enjoying the quiet company of each other while lip-locked; at least that was until the clock chimed to signify the hour.
The Ravenclaw gasped as he glanced towards the clock tower. He turned his flushed face to look up at his partner as he unwound his arms from around his shoulders.
"And now you're late!" Vin chuckled wryly as he detached himself and went to pick up his book from the ground. "Corry, I TOLD you this would happen!"
"It's okay. It's just practice."
"But you are the captain!"
"Exactly!" Corry grinned cheekily and he leaned in to steal another kiss. "They can't start without me."
"Exactly! So then lead by example..." Vin gave him a firm push on his shoulder and blushed as he narrowly avoided Corry's kiss. "...and don't be late! Go. I will see you at lunch!"
As Corry playfully huffed and went to fetch his broom, Vin licked his slightly swollen lips; still tasting him there. Oh, he didn't want to send him off! Not at all! But...they had to be responsible.
Once Corry mounted his broom, he gave a small wave and said, "See you then!" He kicked off and left Vin behind to wave with a chuckle. As he settled back down under the tree's shelter, his gaze followed Corry as flew across the grounds with a small, amused smirk.

This was supposed to be a collab to signify the end of The Survivors RPG. However after a few months most people have slowly dropped out due to personal reasons. Im still extremely happy to finally be able to show this to you all. I built for about two weeks nonstop when I wasn't working. I tried to pack as much detail as I could into this and didnt want to leave anything feeling empty. I think I'm riding the line on having too much in the end but... its fine for what I like. I hope its what you like too!! The story behind the build is that my sig-fig (Cray) and The Survivors push into this command center to extract coordinates for the high ranking Imperial Officer in charge for enslaving the Wookiees. Thank you for taking to time to check out this build. Always extremely appreciated.

Polperro Harbour, located in Cornwall, England, is a picturesque and historic fishing village renowned for its scenic beauty and charm. Nestled within a steep valley on the south coast, Polperro boasts a protected harbour surrounded by quaint, whitewashed cottages and narrow, winding streets. The harbour, originally built to support the local fishing industry, dates back to the 13th century and has been a hub of activity for centuries.
The Blue Peter Inn, situated near the picturesque harbour, is named after the Blue Peter maritime signal flag, which signifies that a ship is ready to sail.
Polperro's history is rich with tales of smuggling, which flourished in the 18th and 19th centuries due to its secluded coves and hidden paths. Today, the village retains much of its old-world charm, with many of the original fishermen's cottages preserved and now serving as homes, shops, and holiday accommodations.
Visitors to Polperro can explore its maritime history at the Polperro Heritage Museum of Smuggling and Fishing, enjoy fresh seafood at local eateries, or simply wander the scenic harbour paths. The village is also a starting point for stunning coastal walks along the Southwest Coast Path, offering breathtaking views of the rugged coastline. Polperro Harbour is a quintessential Cornish gem, reflecting the region's rich heritage and natural beauty.
Minimally Manipulated Pano-Sabotage. Standard adjustments were made for glare, white balance, clarity, composition and, as usual, the colour saturation was bumped up .... a lot. The image was repeated once, reduced and laid over the larger to act as a framing device, with Bevelling added to give this very active image a clearer boundary for a crisper presentation.

Tarot Card number XVI ( 16 ) is the ominous "The Tower", sometimes "The Tower Struck Down". For some the appearance of it is frightening, to those who would hang on to old ways that no longer work. For the Tower signifies in a spread that it is time for you to let something go that is old and ceases to be of any benefit to you or face the terrible destruction ( as it would appear to you ) when the forces of reality tears it apart. One way or another, it's gotta go !
In the image of the traditional Rider-Waite deck, The Tower, nods to the one of Babel, is being struck by lightening from above. The wrath of God is destroying the monument of pride and arrogance. Similarly such towers in our hearts are also in need of toppling should their presence become unhealthy, shall we say and unproductive. Then it's time for those towers to topple.
The Tower is a card of change and transformation, the beginning of the new. It is also, again, depending on the degree of your attachment, a terrifying time of life-changing destruction, or a liberating release, as if from a prison, into a better, happier state.
I've always thought of Pano-Sabotage as both, DE-Structive and RE-Constructive, in the process of change and bifurcation. So, "The Tower" seemed like a good theme for me to attach, to this image particularly.

Another aspect of Chrysanthemum, tightly packed, a true Autumn flower, built against rain, wind and cold?
The name "chrysanthemum" is derived from the Greek words chrysos (gold) and anthemon (flower)
Chrysanthemums, sometimes called mums or chrysanths, are flowering plants of the genus Chrysanthemum in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Asia and northeastern Europe. Most species originate from East Asia and the center of diversity is in China. Chrysanthemums were first cultivated in China as a flowering herb as far back as the 15th century BC.
The flower was brought to the Western World in the 17th century. There are about 40 valid species and countless horticultural varieties and cultivars.
For many years, chrysanthemum signifies praise and admiration. A chrysanthemum is considered as a noble flower of the Chinese noble class.
