The second Streetlite to enter service in Signature branding. This is GN14 LPL (30167). It was the first of the two currently in the branding to be done up, but due to having a new engine fitted (from what I could see), it was delayed in entering service. I've got to admit, the branding does look rather smart. However, it had been sat in Church Road for quite a while and they didn't wash it before sending it in service, and so, as can clearly be seen, it has some bird excrement on it. They've also not replaced the bit above the door with glass. Anyway, it is seen on Washford Drive, Redditch, with a 58 Matchborough Circular towards the bus station, located under the cold (and rather boring to look at) Kingfisher Shopping Centre. GN14LPL was new in March 2014 to Regent Coaches. When acquired by the Rotala PLC's Diamond Bus division, it was put into use at their Redditch depot in the standard, plane blue Diamond livery.
So, they are doing a "Bag Madness" over at the MHArena.com. These are some bags that have been nominated for the tournament. Which is your favorite?
"Art comes only from art."
"The one struggle in art is the struggle of artists against artists, artist against artist."
-Ad Reinhardt
This new and ongoing series responds directly to Reinhardt's dogma, and has developed from an interest in ideas of origin, value and dialogue within the art world.
The signature, emblem of the modern artist, is adopted as a work in itself, meticulously recreated in charcoal.
Not a homage to heroes or a shrine to influence, the work instead deals with a general notion of the name, authorship and corresponding worth.
Charcoal and ink on aged paper.
Dimensions variable.
This work is currently on display at The Paper Mill gallery, a new ARI in Sydney.

HEAD MOLD: 2021 "3rd gen Clawdeen"; pierced ears
PERSONAL FUN FACT: Besides Draculaura, Clawdeen was easily my favorite character from the 3rd generation reboot of "Signature" Monster High dolls. I LOVE how Mattel opted to add freckles to her facial screening. I have a weakness for freckled faced dollies for sure. Anyways, I held off on getting this lady until I could find a bargain. I routinely stalked Amazon, hoping for a Warehouse return. Lo and behold, I not only scored a deal on Clawdeen, but one on Cleo as well in July of 2023. Both were $15 each, about $10 off the original price. I'm not entirely sure why my doll was returned. Her packaging was a tad beat up, but she was otherwise unscathed. My only thought is that perhaps the person who originally ordered Clawdeen didn't like her wonky eyes. My gal has a noticeably smaller left eye (her left, right when looking at her). It's also tilted at an angle...so perhaps the person sent Clawdeen back to get a more symmetrical one. Whatever the reason, I'm so happy I was able to get my hands on this doll. Clawdeen was always one of my favorite characters to collect from the previous generations of Monster High. I think she always looks so beautiful, no matter her era. The extra details on her face make this gal even more special--like the baby hairs and freckles. She also has molded fur added to her head sculpt, which is rad.
"Juliet Love Signatures is a product made exclusively with the original canvas on the sides of the corridor leading to Juliet’s balcony where thousands of people leave a memory every day, a thought, the hope of a love that is forever."
Signature spiders ( argiope anasuja ) are common spiders.Since they make zig zag pattern on web, they are known as writing spiders or signature spiders. They are also called garden spiders. The orbweaver usually builds its nest in fields or in open woodlands, but backyards seem to provide satisfactory environments, also.
So, the work is done... with a little help of a scissors (and a second signature dress of course!!!) and after a little sewing session this is how the signature belle doll from mattel should look!!! (in my opinion... ;) )
What do you think???

The Ferrari Signature
I shot this this morning on the way to work, handheld, with my Casio P&S. I suppose this is about as close as I will get to a signature image for this last phase of my life in photography. Some of you might expect me to flood it though, heh.
It was chilly this morning. The sharp refraction of the surrounding grass is enhanced by frosted tips. The image you see in the dew drop is NOT a reflection. The light is passing through from behind. As my friend jacq is fond of saying, the dew drop is acting like a wide-angle lens.
Update! Here's the project I've been taking part of in the last eight months! Sapo Panoramas
During one of the scouting visits to the 25 de Abril bridge, southern pylon looking south, with the Cristo Rei on the left. I'd like to thank the patience that the staff of Estradas de Portugal had with our project, and their professionalism.
I sometimes add my foot to a photograph as a kind of signature... :-)
