Late in the ALCO era on the KB&S, I had the good fortune to get a train actually moving; something better than my first visits in 1997 (a token action shot) and 2002 (a few roster shots on a Saturday)
While I watched the crew switching in Kankakee, I mapped my route to the bridge in nearby Aroma Park. At the just the right time, the engineer made the RS11/RS20 duo burn a little extra fuel.
