I'm away in Sydney and Melbourne over the next two weeks so thought I would bring along a photo of the beach to remind me of home...

Having just crossed over the south bank of the Flathead River a couple of miles back, Day Gas empties are rolling along at a good clip nearing Perma on the 10th Subdivision.
Sure, this is one of the locations that everyone who journeys to the MRL shoots at but still it was very high on the target list for this trip. While it's always nice to compose one's own take on a famous location, I really wanted a do-over here due to the conditions on my first visit to Montana. There was only one Day Gas chase on that trip, and unfortunately it featured some of the worst wildfire smoke of the whole week: flic.kr/p/QcKDGV

I was just looking at the bottom of items as you do, and I noticed this vase has a signature, anyone know who's signature it is? The vase also had Malta inscribed on the base.

Relatum-Town of Encounter by Lee Ufan
Lee Ufan is a master of contemporary art who works mainly in Korea, Japan, and Europe. He was born in Haman, Southern Gyeongsang province, Korea and led the theory and practice of ‘Mono-na’ (School of Things), Asian equivalent of the West’s minimalism and the first contemporary art movement in the region.
Since the early 1970s, Lee has produced meditative painting series ‘From Point’ and ‘From Line’ as well as his signature sculpture series ‘Relatum’ using steel plates and stone.
This artwork was installed in November 1985 to commemorate the completion of The Korean Press Center, the new building for The Seoul Shinmun and Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation.
It is a rate masterpiece symbolizing the emergence of a new harmonious relation between heavy steel plates and native rock that bears the scar of long history.
‘Relatum’ series was exhibited at the Palace of Versailles, France in 2014 and is owned by Lee Ufan Museum in Naoshima, Japan and Space Le Ufan in Busan Museum of Art.
My brother George competing in the Canadian National Barista Championships. This was the signature drink, a white chocolate ganache, orange zest, nut meg, espresso, with a splash of micro-foamed milk. Very tasty.
