Made by Corrib Quilters, 1991.
198x178cm
Influence: Past and present members of the Corrib Quilters, 10 years after our beginning, made signed squares, then incorporated these in a quilt.
Technique: Hand quilted, machine pieced by all members, hence slight irregularity.
This quilt was part of an exhibition of quilts from members of the Irish Patchwork Society in 2006/07. This exhibition shows quilts from the past 25 years. For more information about patchwork and quilting in Ireland see www.irishpatchwork.ie

MAJOR RANT.
-alright let me put this out there at the very beginning: i love the jonas brothers. i've been a fan since mid '07. i know that's not the beginning, but i think it's pretty long....but that's not what i'm going to talk about. so anyway, i love them and i pretty much support them in anything they do. with that being said....
WTF. i decide to go on jonasbrothersmerch.com and i see this (the picture)
you can buy a signed picture of them for $400.00 OR if you want it unframed it's only $300.00. I kind of dont know why i'm so outraged by this (maybe because i cant get one? lol) but i think this is kind of b.s. #1 the price is attocious. i'm definitly aware of their busy schedules, and how many pictures they've signed, how many sharpies, ect. but honestly. thats INSANE. you could go to a concert and get meet&greet AND soundcheck for like what, isn't it $300? i wouldnt know because i live in middle class and i cant pay 300 freaking dollars for a signature (this seems a little angry, and i dont mean to offend anyone) but honestly? i feel a little dissapointed by the boys. i dont think THEY would want their fans to pay $400 for a signature of theirs. and before i get any comments about how this isn't them, it's their company, management, ect. i'm aware of that. but i just think this is absolutley CRAZY. or for $125 you can buy a single autograph. wow. anyones thoughts on this? cause i'm a little outraged if you couldn't tell...
