Private Dan Richard, known by his comrades as Shellshock, is a weapons specialist for UNSC. He is regularly assigned to artic areas but has been seen working in jungle and desert environments. He has recently enrolled in a weapons testing program where he takes experimental guns into combat, but that’s not to say he got bored of the good old UNSC weapons which he has grown so fond of. To sum him up, Private Richard can't get enough guns and he has a strong passion for putting holes into the chest and heads of the Covenant.

The SETI Institute’s Project Phoenix was the most ambitious search for extraterrestrial intelligence ever undertaken at the time. From February 1995 to March 2004, Phoenix conducted three observing campaigns on some of the world’s largest radio telescopes; in Parkes, Australia, in Green Bank, and at Arecibo in Puerto Rico.

Project Phoenix operated in Green Bank from September 1996 through April 1998, using the telescope about 50% of the time. During that period, the antenna was the primary instrument at the observatory and so was also used for other radio astronomy projects.

Unlike many previous searches, Phoenix didn't scan the whole sky. Rather, it scrutinized the vicinities of nearby, sun-like stars. Such stars are most likely to host long-lived planets capable of supporting life. Naturally they included stars that are known to have planets. Project Phoenix observed about 800 stars. All are within 200 light-years distance.

Phoenix looked for signals between 1,200 and 3,000 MHz. Signals that are at only one spot on the radio dial (narrow-band signals) are the "signature" of an intelligent transmission. The spectrum searched by Phoenix is broken into very narrow 1 Hz-wide channels, so nearly two billion channels are examined for each target star. With so many channels most of the "listening" was done by computers. Nonetheless, astronomers were required to make critical decisions about signals that looked intriguing. If an alien signal had been detected there were protocols set in place to verify, notify, and save and distribute all data for the scientific and public communities.

In addition to the initials on the lock plate, Dad engraved his name in script on the left side of the barrel. The brown finish on the steel parts is a variation on bluing, which was common in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Had a reason to trade some arts with a real cool cat lately, who is far too cool to use fifties' idioms. i had wanted to wait until he received the envelope but alas, through a tragic oversight on my part and a lack of interest on the Postal Service's, it took twenty two days to get to him so i got impatient.

Her purse has a sticker inside, and opens like an old fashioned money purse. It's quite cool. Her jewelry pieces include small pearly rose earrings, the belt and headband which never got worn in the film, and her bracelet which has gold ends shaped like roses, and little rose charms hanging off the bottom.

Her hair is nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. For some reason I had a hunch that her hair wouldn't be very nice since the first Evie had this untameable mop of hair. But I'm pleasantly surprised - her hair is definitely a little dry on the ends and needs some brush work, but overall it's really nice. Other than the bit that looks as if it's been cut off on one side of her head. Not sure where that came from. I love the few blonde streaks she has.

Her face is printed a smidge to the left but I love the screening. It's very Disney and makes her look very sweet.

Her dress is cute - this is a one-piece dress, but it's gorgeous. The edges of the skirt are overlocked (it's one of the more intrusive hems) and one of the layers is tulle. I love the top half of the dress, especially the blue. I would have liked the blue on her waist as well, like she has it in the film. But it's a really nice outfit, though compared to the villain signatures, Audrey has less to work with. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the dress itself, it's just...interesting.

Her shoes have a habit of falling off, not very often but on occasion. They have some great painted details, like the beading and the roses near the ball of the foot.

Her knees took a bit of time to break in, but they're working great now. Her arms are really great - they move really fluidly and give her a lot of expression. Her head is a little bit on the bobblehead side, so it moves a lot when I'm brushing her hair.

Over the past two years or so, I've really warmed to Audrey so I'm glad to finally have one. She doesn't have the instant appeal of Mal or Evie, nor is she as detailed, but I think there's a certain charm to her that you don't pick up on immediately. Her Genie Chic and Neon Lights Ball versions look stunning as well, and I think it's something to do with her facial screening. I just love it. It's got that Disney flair without looking cheap, which honestly sometimes happens with the Disney Princesses. The daughters are definitely bucking that trend!

For £7.99 she's a must-buy. Obviously for £19.99 I'd definitely be a lot more skeptical but I think quality-wise Audrey is on par with the signature Evie - actually, Audrey's hair is better, so she gets the win.

Find these signatures while you still can - the Auradon girls in particular are getting rare. I'll be on the hunt for Lonnie and Jane, but I can safely say for now that Audrey is Breannamation Approved!

Monster High Signature Lagoona Blue doll is easily one of my all time favourites. There's just something about her cute, yet pretty, design that really appeals to me. I adore her youthful freckled plump face, and her pouty deep red lips contrast her cool blue tones so wonderfully. My main complaint with her (as with most other Monster High dolls) is her janky hair. I plan to boil curl her hair at some stage, but first I'd need to degrease it with Goo Gone. A project for when I have more time (which is literally never! Hahaha... T____T)

Signature of Russell Bunting. Bunting was a famous dentist and leader in the World War II era, when he was the Dean of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and facilitated finding new homes for many important dental researchers displaced by the War in Europe. Among those he helped was Orban, a famous Jewish scientist from Vienna. We are planning a future exhibit of dentists and their books, looking at inscriptions and bookplates. This is from that group.
