This impressive lookout hill sits just above the beach at Sea Point, with Table Mountain lying just behind it inland.
So I head down from Byron to Rochelle to meet up with a few friends. And the high clouds break to allow for this fiery post-sunset of the ex-CNW signal bridge at the Rochelle, IL Railroad Park. The sun had set minutes earlier, but was still glimmering off the clouds.

The signal box has been reduced to a single storey. I'm not sure about the validity of Mission Brown as an historcal finish.

Avant garde architects Minimaforms‘ SMS text message public sculpture ‘Smoke Signals’ at the Offload Festival which took place in Bristol on 13 - 16 September 2007.
Based on the ancient system of trading messages, Smoke Signals allowed participants to text in real-time their messages onto plumes of smoke across Bristol Harbour.
