Down Hartlepool signal, located north of Hartlepool Station. This also controls access to the former Hartlepool Docks branch.
The route to the right is an unsignalled siding. The points are set to the right and detected correctly set, and the points indicator displays this.
When the points are set to the left, it is for a signalled route, and the shunting signal then becomes active.
