From the top of Signal Mountain, we looked out over the landscape of Grand Teton National Park and Teton National Forest, including nearby Lozier Hill. The clouds obscured the view of the mountain range but added a dynamic counterpart to the plains and valley. This photo is dedicated to my flickr friend Tom. He loves trains...well every time I saw a train I did not have my camera with me or was in a hurry. I went for a walk on Friday...on a trail in our town that used to be railroad tracks...it goes all over our city and is enjoyed very much. Along the way you can find old railroad items and plaques talking about the history of the railroad. So Tom here is to you...hope you are having a good day!

(2) Abandoned Letterhead - Collection of letterhead from various companies in and around Detroit, abandoned for reasons such as mergers or acquisitions, change of address, bankruptcy, logo updates, name change, office moved or closed.

Many of the places I've recently visited in Maine have limited or non-existent cell phone reception, at least on my pay-as-you-go phone. I was amused to see this woman talking on her phone, with her arm wrapped around a flagpole. I wondered if she had discovered the secret to boosting her cell phone signal. ; ) Seen at Owl's Head Light State Park in Owl's Head, Maine, USA on August 13, 2010.
