One of my favorite examples of neon signage. See it everyday on the way to and from work at Howard and 2nd — beautiful white-on-red in the morn, lit in the evenin'.
I can't decide if I should leave the power lines top right in the photo, or remove them. Are they a distraction, or do they lead your eye into the photograph.
Thoughts are welcome!

I ate at Al's Chickenette in Hays, Kansas based on the recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint!
This very cool neon sign belongs to the Suwannee Gables Motel near the small north Florida town of Fanning Springs. It's nice to see some of these old places still operating, and this one looks to be maintained nicely. The back side of the motel is right on the Suwannee River.

Bisbee, Arizona was founded in 1880 as a copper, gold, and silver mining town. It was the home to the Phelps Dodge Copper Queen mine. Mining halted in the city in 1975. The central portion of Bisbee is on the National Register #80004487, and is also a National Historic Landmark. Central Bisbee is also surrounded by the Bisbee Residential Historic District, on the National Register #10000233.
