The whole northern zone of this old fashion town will soon be demolished and a huge apartment building will be constructed. This will be the last chance to experience this area as it is.
The 2nd wave and the 3rd wave of the redevelopment of this area will be expanding further to the south side and the entire zone.

Canal running underneath the city are covered by the Highway. They were hidden right before the Tokyo Oympics 1964. This city has many layers in 3 dimensional aspect.
You can smell the atmosphere of Tokyo in the 1960's still filling in this hidden territory. Time has stopped and left there for almost 5 decades.
