"Shifting Threshold" – Joan Irving – Eight rectangular glass and steel panels perched on top of poles placed at multiple locations on East Valley Parkway. The center median at Hickory; two gateway pieces mid-block on the north and south side of East Valley between Ash and Harding on the landscaped areas adjacent to the sidewalk; center medians at the East Valley and Rose intersection, the Midway and East Valley intersection, and the center median at Citrus and East Valley.
This replaced the Crossroads shifter assembly after it got ruined in a low-speed crash. The XB assembly works better and of course it's easier to get replacement parts. No replacement parts are available for Crossroads rearsets.

I de-blurred the objects whose bottoms are in the focus zone to increase the sense of it being a macro shit - the spines, the demon, and the pillars.
I'm not as happy with this one as I was with the John King Books photo, but I'm having trouble figuring out what it is that needs to be changed.

Time Shifts - Personal Time Keeping Device:
13 Moon Time is a passive performance of a personal time keeping device created to make myself - and others - more connected to the harmonic frequency of natural cycles.
The wearable device serves the dual function of 1) being a constant reminder of the galactic signature for each day, and 2) visually interesting others to ask about the device, thereby sparking a chain reaction of introduction to the 13 Moon system.
The inspiration for the piece is the 13 Moon / 28 Day Dreamspell Calendar developed by José Argüelles and the Foundation for the Law of Time, based on the Mayan calendar.

Strangely enough, the person I was with, well, their camera shut off in the middle of an exposure, and the batteries were at full power. To make things more interesting, it kept going into review mode and the same picture kept coming up (not the last picture taken!)
