C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is a long-period comet from the Oort cloud that was discovered by the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) on 2 March 2022. The comet has a bright green glow around its nucleus, due to the effect of sunlight on diatomic carbon and cyanogen. The comet's systematic designation starts with C to indicate that it is not a periodic comet, and "2022 E3" means that it was the third comet to be discovered in the first half of March 2022.
The comet nucleus was estimated to be about a kilometer in size, rotating every 8.5 to 8.7 hours. Its tails of dust and gas extended for millions of kilometers and, during January 2023, an anti-tail was also visible.

The night before the Aurora showed up, after hours of incredible observing, decided to capture the Orion Nebula, Running Man and an open cluster that make up the sword. Used ASI533MC, Zenithstar66, Star Adventurer Pro 2i mount, capturing around an hour total. Manually discarded around 1/2 of the subs but the skies were so terrific that with only 38 subframes at 32 seconds each, this is what appeared in SharpCap.
Messier 16 - The Eagle Nebula
The place where stars are born, and one of the first nebulae I can remember seeing on a nasa poster I had when I was a kid. So actually being able to produce this on my camera sensor was a bit of a childhood dream (I never knew I had) coming true.

Expusures:
Because my settings in sharpcap (the program I use to capture) isn't set properly, I don't know the exact settings i used, other than that they are between 2-4 minutes and that I took 20 of the.

I embarked on a mammoth lunar imaging session on 10th February so I could produce an animation showing the sunrise over some prominent craters. I've already shared the video I created with the data but am now sharing the still images. If you didn't see the animation you can watch it here:
I was imaging from15:45 UT until 22:30 UT and during that time the Moon changed its illumination from 69% to 72%.
Taken from Oxfordshire with a William Optics 70mm refractor and ASI120MC camera through a Celestron 3x Barlow. A 2,000 frame video was shot with SharpCap and depending on the quality graph I stacked either 50 or 25% of the frames using Autostakkert! 3. Processing with Lightroom and Fast Stone Image Viewer.

from Wikipedia
NGC 4535 is a barred spiral galaxy located some 54 million light years from Earth in the constellation Virgo. It is a member of the Virgo Cluster of galaxies and is located 4.3° from Messier 87. The galactic plane of NGC 4535 is inclined by an angle of 43° to the line of sight from the Earth.
The morphological classification of NGC 4535 in the De Vaucouleurs system is SAB(s)c, which indicates a bar structure across the core (SAB), no ring (s), and loosely wound spiral arms (c). The inner part of the galaxy has two spiral arms, which branch into multiple arms further away. The small nucleus is of type HII, meaning the spectrum resembles that of an H II region.
During 1999, the Hubble Space Telescope was used to observe Cepheid variable stars in NGC 4535. The period-luminosity relationship for these objects yielded a distance modulus of 31.02 ± 0.26 magnitude. This corresponded to a physical distance estimate of 52.2 ± 6.2 Mly (16.0 ± 1.9) Mpc, which was consistent with distance estimates for other members of the Virgo Cluster.

Globular Cluster M22 (NGC 6656), 12 1/2" newtonian, f/5.1, coma corrector, and Nikon D850 on a home built altazimuth mount driven by an OnStep controller. This is a result of stacking and aligning multiple frames in SharpCap Pro. This image was acquired from a relatively short capture period before moonrise on July 9, 2020, stacking only about 50, 2-second frames.
M22 is one of the most spectacular globular clusters visible from earth and arguably the best easily visible from my latitude. It is one of the closest globular clusters at a distance of about 10,400 lightyears.

Storia
