Shark Week that is, but we've had so much fun finding and capturing our Shark finds we may keep this up for a weekly shark find!!!

So my poor hubby was doing some repairs on the dryer and came in the room wanting help for his cut and when I smiled he knew I wanted a picture - good thing he's got a great sense of humor. After picture he came in and realized the other hand was cut worse. Yup had to get that one too ;D

Huntington Beach, California

5 teams of middle school students showed off what they know about sharks during this friendly “Jeopardy”-style game. We took our questions from the Top 100 Shark Facts on the Shark Week page at discovery.com and the 30 competitors had really studied as it was a close game with lots of knowledge shared and learned about sharks.

We sang silly songs, read funny books and made some shark crafts before going on parade.

Cape Gannets dive underwater towards a sardine bait ball. The birds spot the large group of fish before descending down into the water.
