I love it, except for the curliness of the negatives, so curly in fact that the latest batch managed to rip its way out of their negative sleeves. Or maybe the evil twistiness lives on...

The very wet winter has resulted in huge areas covered by mushrooms. I hope their spores don't travel inside the lenses.
This was a frustrating one to digitize, I tried several times to stitch it from 3 shots, but I am not good enough at the software and I suppose the image had too much out of focus to do it automatically. So I resigned to a single frame.

Not the greatest results from a stand development process, with the run coming from the trees, but over all a decent result for a test run with the Perkeo.

This year I'm using a different film format each month, starting with the smallest and working my way up through the sizes. The format for September is 127 roll film which was introduced in 1912. Narrower than 120 film, it allowed for smaller more pocketable cameras to be made, perhaps most famously the Kodak VP (Vest Pocket) also known as the soldiers' camera because many of them were used during the First World War (1914-18).
This was taken using a Korelle 3x4cm camera, which dates to the 1930s.
The film is Shanghai GP3 ISO 100 black and white, developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 11 mins at 22 degrees.
