(This roll was home-developed by a friend while I observed the process :) Don't know what causes the black spots but from what I've learned they happen randomly with GP3. They are on a portion of the roll; I don't mind them at all in these images.)

Interesting what you can find in Toronto's back alleyways. This Volvo mini truck looks like it's designed for rugged off road travel. The second Laplander (or the same one twice) so far that I have found in Toronto

I'm liking this inexpensive Shanghai GP3 film now that I have developed a roll correctly, Downside of cheap backing paper and a curl with enough springiness to act as leaf springs for the above truck can be dealt with.

Shot with Fuji GW690III on Shanghai GP3 100 film, expired January, 2010. Developed in Calbe R09 ("Rodinal" clone), 1+125 solution, for 1 hour, 20 seconds water rinse and 6 minutes fix. – View at least large.

From a distance I saw this car. Immediately, I began to sprint down the alley as I saw it pull forward. You can see from the puddle that it was in the perfect position for a photo. I think now, it's a bit too far away, but there are some niceties in the shadows and wires....but I very much lament the missed opportunity.

This year I'm using a different film format each month, starting with the smallest and working my way up through the sizes. The format for September is 127 roll film which was introduced in 1912. Narrower than 120 film, it allowed for smaller more pocketable cameras to be made, perhaps most famously the Kodak VP (Vest Pocket) also known as the soldiers' camera because many of them were used during the First World War (1914-18).
This was taken using a Korelle 3x4cm camera, which dates to the 1930s.
The film is Shanghai GP3 ISO 100 black and white, developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 11 mins at 22 degrees.
A day out in the mountains with expired Shanghai GP3 film and my beautiful but extremely heavy Bronica. There's a reason I go to waterfalls within a short hike from the car park.
