The projection of a tree on an abandoned factory creates an unexpected luxury and luster, even a place where one could sit and read a book in the cool shadow of a summer afternoon. But at sunset, the magic will evaporate. Barsac – FR.
Sun begins to set on the Grand Canyon covering all but the nearest part of the mighty Colorado in shadow. The Vermillion Cliffs stand tall in the distant background making sure to catch the last rays.

Stranger Danger: You never know what's lurking behind you in plain sight. OK, I confess I was chuckling more than cowering while looking for the right angle to capture this patio monster hiding in the shadows.
This was taken the same day as the facing the fears one was done and we had come through the Washington National Forest out into the Cowpasture Valley in the beautiful (and favorite of ours) Highland County. The sun was so strong that day that it was making beautiful strong shadows and areas of light and dark. I don't know the name of this mill or anything else about it unfortunately.
