I've got a bike
You can ride it if you like
It's got a basket
A bell that rings
And things to make it look good
I'd give it to you if I could
But I borrowed it

On Swansea beach shapes and sounds are strange in the moonlight. I could swear I could hear the sound of a howl as the waves hit the beach.
The shadows certainly suggested a wolf close at hand - can you see him - his shadow is pretty big? BUT MAYBE YOU'LL SEE HIM EVEN BETTER IN LARGE ?
I took this very quickly, didn't turn around - just in case - and then ran as fast as my legs could carry me.

Thanks for looking. I appreciate feedback!
Shadow orbs pelt the beast as I also cast Void Bolt on it while it continues to take disease damage.
Didn't know what time it was, the lights were low
I leaned back on my radio
Some cat was layin' down some rock'n'roll lotta soul, he said
Then the loud sound did seem to fade
Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase
That weren't no D.J. that was hazy cosmic jive
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He told us not to blow it
'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me:
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
I had to phone someone so I picked on you
Hey, that's far out so you heard him too!
Switch on the TV we may pick him up on channel two
Look out your window I can see his light
If we can sparkle he may land tonight
Don't tell your poppa or he'll get us locked up in fright

Kumortuli images are generally ordered well in advance and there a few for off-the-shelf sale. Nowadays, Kumortuli’s clientele has extended to America, Europe and Africa, among the Indian communities living there. In 1989, Durga images made out of shola pith by Amarnath Ghosh were flown to Sweden, Australia, Malaysia and Nigeria. The images weighed only three kilograms each and were ideally suited for air travel. In modern times, Statues and replicas made out of Fiberglass are also being produced and exported to various parts of the country and the world.[12]
In 2006, Kumortuli supplied 12,300 clay deities of goddess Durga. This potter's town supplies images to about 90 countries worldwide with new nations joining the list every year. Many East European countries, where religious ceremonies were previously banned, have started buying images from Kumortuli. A spokesman of Kumartuli Shilpi Sangha (KSS), an association of the craftsmen, said the NRIs of countries like Hungary, Bulgaria, Russia, Austria and Poland, come to Kumortuli to buy images. U.S. based NRIs, including the Bengali Association of Southern California, Bengali Association of Greater Chicago, Dakshini, Sanskriti, Garden State Puja Committee of New Jersey, East Coast Durga Puja Committee of New York, North America Sarbojanin Kalipuja Association of Connecticut[13] come to Kumartuli to select deities to ship to their cities. Additionally, hundreds of agents in Kolkata service NRIs seeking idols from Kumortuli.[14]
In Kolkata, the icon-artisans mostly dwell in poor living conditions. The more popular among them are Mohan Banshi Rudra Pal and his sons Sanatan Rudra Pal and Pradip Rudra Pal, Rakhal Pal, Ganesh Pal, Aloke Sen, Kartik Pal, Kena Pal, who are still reigning figures of Kumortuli and despite the threats from the ‘theme artists’, they are booked by major puja organisers who admire the old school. Women are not lagging behind. Kumortuli boasts of the presence of some 30-odd women-artisans, like Minati Pal, Soma Pal, Kanchi Pal and Chapa Rani Pal. They have been in the business of idol making for a long time.[13] Kumortuli’s own Durga Puja dates back to 1933. The image maker was Gopeswar Pa
i used a high contrast to get the little gritty details that show up on the concrete floor and to make the shadow stand out.
Shot this image at a friends studio earlier this year. It was a fun day of playing with shadow and light. The shadow was created with lace.

One more attempt at this, as I really didn't like the other two very much. I used a Bible for the words. I'm much happier with this one. I only wish the words didn't show through from the next page....very thin pages.
Our Daily Challenge - Shadows.
One of my favourite subjects, but guess what, raining yet again. I like the idea of coloured shadows, so played around with some of the coloured glass I have.
It was a shadow photo that got me back into taking more than just holiday snaps and it really only came by chance thanks to my daughter telling me to take a photo of her. That picture is below, it is still one, if not my favourite shot.

As I looked through this restaurant window, it looked like the shadows were taking on life of their own.
Shadows and Light
Every picture has its shadows
And it has some source of light
Blindness blindness and sight
The perils of benefactors
The blessings of parasites
Blindness blindness and sight
Threatened by all things
Devil of cruelty
Drawn to all things
Devil of delight
Mythical devil of the ever-present laws
Governing blindness blindness and sight
Suntans in reservation dining rooms
Pale miners in their lantern rays
Night night and day
Hostage smile on presidents
Freedom scribbled in the subway
It's like night night and day
Threatened by all things
God of cruelty
Drawn to all things
God of delight
Mythical god of the everlasting laws
Governing day day and night
Critics of all expression
Judges in black and white
Saying it's wrong saying it's right
Compelled by prescribed standards
Or some ideals we fight
For wrong wrong and right
Threatened by all things
Man of cruelty-mark of Cain
Drawn to all things
Man of delight-born again born again
Man of the laws the ever-broken laws
Governing wrong wrong and right
Governing wrong wrong and right
Wrong and right

I was sure I can never have the time to do deliberate photographic studies, let alone - on a predefined subject and with a deadline. November sunshine proved me wrong: I had 5 minutes, the subject was 'shadows' and I saw them, in my own sitting room and garden. Next day I even found time to crop and clean them a bit, and here they are - for your critique :)
