Curvy shadows of the entrance gate are cast over the courtyard of Mellieha parish church. The effect was caused by a bright street lamp located about 20 metres outside the yard.

The morning sun shows up the wrinkles in the face of this old mountain. I stretched the verticals in this image to make it look more dramatic.
The Belvedere in Vienna, a Baroque palace and garden (completed in 1723), was build for Prince Eugene of Savoy. These wrought iron gates carry the stylized letters E ("Eugen") and S ("Savoy").

shot on a bicycle-tour in the early evening .. I couldn´t resist to make a pic of my shadow (it´s me on the left). even simple things - like shadows in the soft evening sun - can bright up my life in these days ..

spring fever in march drives me crazy BUT the changing angle of the sun makes for some cool effects...and nice long shadows.
