This is not a composite. It was rainy and cloudy today so I thought I would make my own shadows...
Most of Rochester Terrace already in evening shadow, but the upper parts of this row of handsome, terraced houses catching a gorgeous hue of sunset light. Quick snap with the phone walking home.
Shadows falling on Llyn Llydaw, Snowdonia, North Wales. Taken in the late afternoon from atop Lliwedd with the mighty 400mm lens. Not the lightest lens to carry in the mountains!
Ok, so this is kind of hard to see, but it is one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed in my life.
There is a cloud about half way up the John Hancock building. The top of the Hancock is above the cloud in full sun. The sun is behind the Hancock and is casting a shadow onto the cloud below.
