Eastham over looking the River Mersey.
Earth's shadow cast onto the atmosphere can be viewed during the "civil" stage of twilight, assuming the sky is clear and the horizon is relatively unobstructed. The shadow's fringe appears as a dark bluish to purplish band that stretches over 180° of the horizon opposite the Sun.

Spotted this whilst waiting for the sun to rise behind Stanlow Refinery. Worth doing a 180 and getting a couple of shots for a pano.
Besides the impressive highway constructions reflections from the surrounding buildings allow for some playing with shadows.

Ok, so this is kind of hard to see, but it is one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed in my life.
There is a cloud about half way up the John Hancock building. The top of the Hancock is above the cloud in full sun. The sun is behind the Hancock and is casting a shadow onto the cloud below.

I think sitting in your mother-in-law's garden and noticing that you're suddenly sporting a pair of shadow fishnets counts as an outdoor adventure? To be honest, I think they rather suit me.

Ya faltan 3 dias para 4 meses, 122 dias de pololeo, pero quizas cuantos de amor! Es que no me di ni cuenta cuando empece a amarte! Yo te quiero conmigo, te quiero para mi, para que llueva y podamos secarnos juntos esas gotas en el parque como alguna vez lo hicimos. Momentos intensos que gritan ser vividos otra vez.
