I forgot I'd taken this one. My first whole day with my Canon, so just experimenting.
Taken at my pet sitting house. Dogs playing/fighting/chasing the cats and not at all interested in what I'm doing. I will get some decent shots of them soon, if only they would stay still.
I've been trying out some no border techniques lately, and this was one of my favourite ones. Hope you guys like it got some more stuff in the works. Schools really busy right now so not building much, but keep your eyes out for some new stuff.
Early morning shadow and light seem to be divided by the meeting of a two different rock formations in Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada. The meeting of these two different rock deposits forms a low area, where sand accumulates and desert vegetation takes root.

Today, the location from the previous photo, but from a different angle and in a different perspective.
Old tenement houses are surrounded by decaying wooden fuel cellars.
Nothing fancy in general, but for me, the light and shadows add a magical charm to this place.

Macro Mondays - Shadows
The shadow of a little trawler magnet usually housed on the side of my microwave. I cast the shadow onto my fridge door using a small led torch.....at first I was disappointed that the torchlight reflected onto the door too but when I uploaded the image I thought it could add to the scene as the moon !!!
Just after we had setup camp on the first day there was a specatular display of light and shadows dancing around the valley. Hope you enjoy this image and thanks for viewing.

An unexpected treat while Charles and I were waiting for the full moon to rise in Sedona. Cathedral Rock makes an awesome shadow across the valley floor during sunset.
