Testing out the lighting setup for the St. Vincent's shoot this weekend. The older boy, now in full-on skater/snowboarder phase, gladly obliged for a quick portrait.

This is the setup I used to take this shot.
The diffusion panel wasn't actually laying up against the camera like that. I was hand-holding it, but it wasn't too far away from where it is shown here.
The sheet at the right is part of my poor-man's light tent. I originally tried to shoot the lens in the tent, but the wrinkles in the fabric were obvious in the lens reflection so the sheet was relegated to reflector duty, out of the field of view of the front of the lens.
Blueberry iMac: 500Mhz, 512RAM, 20GB hdd.

2x 400GB 7200RPM WD drives (one USB, one FireWire)
Intel Core Duo Mac Mini: 1.66 Ghz, 2GB Ram, 80GB hdd, SuperDrive.
Westinghouse 19" Widescreen LCD HD
Looks like a VCR? Actually its a mod...inside is three 2.5" drives. Two are 30GB, one is 10GB. Also, one 3.5" 40GB drive. All are connected to a 4 port USB hub, also inside. Finally for the mod, two fans, and a re-enforced top to hold the weight of the LCD.
