UPC Nederland breidt per 26 april 2011 haar digitale televisiediensten uit met een CI+ Module: een speciale kaart en kaarthouder die in een CI+ geschikte televisie kan worden gestoken. Via de module kan de klant het volledige digitale zenderaanbod van UPC inclusief HD-zenders ontvangen, terwijl zij geen mediabox (settopbox) nodig heeft. De klant krijgt de CI+ module van UPC in bruikleen.

El ingeniero Luis Valle, director del Posgrado en TV Digital de la Facultad de Ingeniería UP, recibió el Premio: Meritorious Award for Engineering 2009, otorgado por AFCEA Internacional, en una ceremonia en su sede en Washington, EEUU.
AFCEA Internacional (Asociación de Comunicaciones y Electrónica de las Fuerzas Armadas), establecida en 1946 es una asociación sin fines de lucro con 19.000 miembros individuales, 1.700 corporaciones miembro y 140 capítulos distribuidos alrededor del planeta.

In 2001 Lemmy the ITV Digital knitted monkey character became very popular both on the tv screen and as a soft toy. Unfortunately in 2002 he was made redundant when the ITV Digital Company became bankrupt.
Quite what the ITV digital set-top box was capable of becoming will never be known because the investment high-dealers just got carried away.
One thing is for sure - the digital set-top boxes of 2009 are much better products .

AUD59 is not bad! The reviews on the internet seem generally positive for this brand and model. It's a bit low-end, but it'll do for a second TV.
To fix this simply press OK. This will cause you to lose service for a few
moments, but will get your set-top box back to peak performance.

Ah, if only it were that simple. I spotted NTL's new
watch-programmes-at-any-time thing on channel 106. Films for a few quid, and TV programmes for like
49p to 79p, but also picks of the week for free. So I gave it a go. It asked
for a PIN (attempt 1/3), I entered one and got it wrong, but it decided that
I'd had three attempts and blocked the service for 15 minutes, but if I
needed it unblocking to call customer services (number not given). Like they'd
answer within 15 mins! Anyway, they were shit already (sorry, honest typo,
meant to say shut!). So instead I had to wait... Hardly the "watch any programme
in minutes" they claimed. After much more faffing and rebooting I got it
working, and it's quite good (for NTL).
