This used to be part of an old CBeebies set, but seems to have been joined by the old Match of the Day sofa and table, and a big set of teeth.
I just sold this set to a colleague in the Netherlands.
This photo is my tribute to my old Russian lenses. Hurts to see them go. :-(
They only had to go because I have Leica lenses with simlar FLs. ;-)

We’ve been out hitting second hand furniture stores for a while looking for some nicer pieces of older furniture to replace some pressed wood/build at home stuff either of us had been carrying around for years that had finally started meeting their well deserved ends. Stopping into a favorite place to snoop around we saw the vanity first and I, of course, talked myself out of it. Then we saw the matching dresser and nightstand and immediately went home to measure and see if we could rent a van. As of 3PM today we had finally got the rooms cleaned up, sorted, and more unpacked to allow us to move everything in from the garage. These are the nicest pieces of furniture I’ve ever bought myself. They go so well in the bedroom and sewing room. We’re going to search for a similar and semi-compatible smaller mid-century dresser and another night stand. I’m not one who is terribly bothered by matching sets (all of my flatware is mismatched and second hand from one off pieces I’ve thrifted that I liked the look or weight of), but I think two different size dressers and same sized night stands in a similar wood/finish/style would look beautiful in this bedroom. I am so pleased with this purchase. We also picked up what may also be a mid-century octagon end table for our big beautiful owl lamp to sit on. I’ll snap some photos of that later though.
My sister-in-law Mary bought this set for me in Mexico. Apparently she haggled with a shop-keeper over three days before she got him down to the price she wanted.
Corgi Land Rover with Rice's Pony Trailer and Pony, original condition.
That little Corgi Land Rover was used in so many different combinations and applications. I always loved it as a kid. You have to admit it is so cool. The trailer and horse was sold seperately.
This little Corgi is really in excellent condition as you can see. I have had this stashed way in the back of my Corgi shelf out of the sun. I actually sometimes forget its there. It's always like Christmas everytime I see it and open it. I got this at an antique car show and swap meet. The guy had this mint and another Corgi which sadly was damaged, we struck a deal and $45.00 later this and another were mine. I have had this since the mid 90's I guess. I love finding this stuff and then I am, ok now what, do I really need this? No of course not and thats the beauty of it all.
This is a 1962 2nd edition of this Corgi model, of GIFT SET No 2. The first was in 1958 with a red trailer and green Land Rover. The box remains unchanged in 1962 from the first model in 1958, the color for 1962 change and so does some of the details. This is known as GC2, for Gift Set No 2 .

The set on the left is a commission, the other set on the right is going to be for adoption on my blog.
Today, from about 7 O’clock in the evening I started to paint these figures and finished them in about 5 hours. My first plan was to use endless blending over blending to achieve better finish but about time I finished James’s face – took about one hour – I thought by this pace it will take forever to finish these two figures. So I took the shortcut. I just do the little bit of blending on faces and hands then dry brushing the rest. Guess there is not much of point spending too much time on these figures anyway as they are not even remotely resemble the famous duo. Crappy old kit but I still like these funny retro looking figures!

Mint tea sets, they are made of mint green cotton voile/ gauze (I really don't know if it is one or the other because the fabric is so thin). Tea stainned, and crickled.
